Congratulations, ⚓! I will need to decide on whether it counts toward the last month or current month when a riddle is solved or when it is asked. What do you think and why?
Control priest is currently too dependant on Renew and Apotheosis for keeping themselves alive, both of which are Holy spells. Not only that, Draconic Studies is also in the deck to help fixing their curve.
So, while there is a chance control Priest switches to full Shadow spells (both Insight and Thrive in the Shadows, aka, their semi tutored draw engines), switching from a resource generation gameplan to a more proactive one where there is a clear win condition (like C'Thun, the Shattered), we need more support for that deck. Like I said, shadow priest loses their survivability and Palm Reading can only get you so far. Even Clown Priest, who actually uses the shadow draw engine, also includes at least Renew.
This is clearly a wait and see card, but the last two Start of Game cards that interacted with your Hero Power were deemed too strong for the game and removed from standard prematurely, which makes me very scared of Darkbishop Benedictus's ability to warp the meta.
This is the first time a pack outside of the Class or "Year of" packs that the swirl is not featured in the middle of the pack. I don't know why, because it probably doesn't mean a damn thing, but I find that to be a very interesting detail.
I typically play Noz all (or at least most) of the time I spend playing on the 15th, so just queue into me! Should be easy. :)
He's not the worst card really. I've even played him in Wild, which is harder to find a willing participant to match up with. I put him in decks where I have some "if you're holding a dragon" cards so he can just be the activator I never play.. Or if I've played Frizz then he's a 5 mana 8/8 dragon. Not bad! You could also run him in a Big/Duel Paladin.
Of course the suggestions I'm making are more meme than meta but whatever! I don't take this game too seriously so that it can remain fun and not burn me down. My only goal each month is Diamond in both formats, D5 if I can but it's not a necessity for me to call the month a success! But it's because I'm not pushing for Legend all the time that the decks I mentioned are viable to me.
This quest lives and dies on if it procs on Fatigue damage, because I can't think of a deck that runs enough self-damage cards to fulfill the quest AND make use of the reward. Even then, super vulnerable to Aggro. 3/5 because I'm on the fence.
Tradable as a keyword should be thought of as Plan B, as top decking this wouldn't be the absolute worst unless you really needed something on curve. Otherwise, instant Ice Barrier without the need for your opponent to attack to proc. Pretty basic 29th/30th card in your control warrior deck.
Im not too sad about Malfurion instead of Rag, if that was even a change-up, since I have a lot of Shaman skins and like one for Druid, but Rag does look cool hot :)
I mean it should stay in your quest log, right? If you log in on 15th to get the daily quest. I expect most of the Noz matches to happen on 15th, but you never know :)
Certainly playable. Nice armor gain, but if you compare it to Shield Block it kinda feels.. underwelming? considering you need to pay 1 mana to use it's tradable effect. Actually after looking at some other 3 cost armor gain cards, i noticed that Heavy Plate is basicly Ice Barrier that you can trade back into your deck.
But still, i think Control warrior will still use it, because it's armor gain. Also the Silas Darkmoon OTK deck might enjoy it.
In wild... IT'S ODD COSTED. But i'm still not 100% sure if ODD Warrior will use it. It might help getting to the Silas Darkmoon OTK earlier. (For the ODD Warrior decks that run that combo.) I'm interested to see whether it makes the cut, but i'm guessing it doesn't because Shield Block is honestly superior in a lot of ways.
You are forgetting that any Tradable card basically thins your deck, i mean if you have multiple, it can kinda backfire, but you can throw the other card back as well, being able to just draw a different card from your deck is a massive advantage imho. Depending on how many Tradable cards there will be available, this might be played just for the keyword in most games possibly. And for the armor whenever you actually need it.
I think its because team5 wanted Prestor to be the preorder skin (because she's Onyxia so its more marketable, probably) and really the only class Prestor can be is either mage or warlock, and since Nzoth got warlock last time I guess for this reason we get another (shitty looking) mage skin?
There's always the chance we see rogue skins later down the line as I dont think they'll pass the chance of making up something with Mathias Shaw, or anything else related to the SI7 in an Alliance theme expansion.
I'm still holding out hope Shaw will be on the Rewards Track, but I'm not optimistic. I suspect they'll put Scabbs in it and pretend he counts.
As for Onyxia being more marketable, that's up for debate. She's more recognisable to players with limited knowledge of the Warcraft universe perhaps, but those players would have recognised Kazakus a thousand times better than Hamuul Runetotem, yet they pandered to the players who know the lore better there despite Hamuul having basically nothing to do with the Barrens expansion. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if ANY rogue hero was more interesting to most players than another mage hero at the moment, especially when that mage is in human female form.
More of a hot take: would Prestor really be that ill-fitting as a rogue? Her whole thing is that she infiltrated Stormwind's elite, and any magic she used in the process was subtle mind manipulation (which would fall under priest more than mage or warlock). For the most part she got to that position through non-magical means, and played the role of both an assassin (on Varian) and a crime lord (commanding black dragons in the city guards, indirectly setting up the Defias brotherhood, and hiring multiple assassins to kill Lo'gosh (aka strong-willed Varian)).
The reason the rogue fantasy is so broad is that it is built on approaches to solving problems (i.e. use of stealth, agility, charm and trickery, along with a willingness to make morally questionable choices), rather than the tools used to do that. I know WoW has a fairly limited view of a rogue, but plenty of hero portraits have ignored that in other classes, so I don't really care if a rogue is using daggers, glaives, swords, bows, fists or magic so long as their role is very rogue-ish, and Prestor's role most certainly is.
Hearthstone is...fine, I guess - kind of tired of it at this point - and I like Battlegrounds, but I want Mercenaries. Seeing it delayed is annoying, but hopefully that means there's a solid product waiting at the end.
I don't think that Aggro Shadow Priest is the right call, as Brandon mentioned there are a lot of control tools that are shadow. Insight, Palm Reading, Raise Dead, Soul Mirror, just to name a few. I think that Shadow Priest will instead look more along the lines of Control Mage than anything else.

No offence to this Katrina lady, but that portrait looks like trash.
New Priest Minion - Darkbishop Benedictus
Control priest is currently too dependant on Renew and Apotheosis for keeping themselves alive, both of which are Holy spells. Not only that, Draconic Studies is also in the deck to help fixing their curve.

New Warlock Spell - The Demon Seed

New Neutral Minion - Impatient Shopkeep
You'd probably use the Tradable for when you need a bigger minion out of your deck, but otherwise I can only see this being played in arena.
New Warrior Spell - Heavy Plate
Tradable as a keyword should be thought of as Plan B, as top decking this wouldn't be the absolute worst unless you really needed something on curve. Otherwise, instant Ice Barrier without the need for your opponent to attack to proc. Pretty basic 29th/30th card in your control warrior deck.
New Neutral Minion - Mailbox Dancer
Do I want Coin? Yes. Do I want my opponent to have the coin? No. 1/5 stars
Big Swing Tavern Brawl Demon Hunter
Thx for the list.
I don't have Il'gynoth nor Khayn, so I switched for 2 skulls of Guld'an. Worked fine :)
United in Stormwind is Hearthstone's Next Expansion - Live Reveal and Recap
What a shame, I'm excited about expansion, but pre-purchase hero... I think it's the worst one among all bundles we ever had.
New Neutral Minion - Pandaren Importer
5/5, could slot this as is in Priest and get 2 MORE copies of Renew, Palm Reading, Soul Mirror...

Why the lack of rogue heroes is so frustrating

It might be worth mentioning that they cancled/delayed the "spell locked" feature they previously planned for the third phase.
