I was also very lucky with my barrens pack openings. From 160 packs I've collected 16 legendaries. With the free legendaries and tavern pass I had 20 legendaries on day 1. This was my luckiest pack opening..
I know this isn't what you wanna hear, and I'm probably playing it wrong. Played two games: 1. Machine gun priest with Reno. Removed anything and outvalued me. 2. Reno Mage. Removed anything and topdecked Reno at 2 HP (Stonetusk in hand with no Iceblock active)
Haha I got 1800. And I didn't know why until now reading this article. From cards from the golden classic bundle surely. I didn't even notice I opened something that was an error..and gold cards are mostly dust to me, so this is a lot of icing on a dust cake.
It's odd that this is happening at all though since the background image once loaded initially, should be cached locally and instantly loading.
With that said, this is a very easy fix and I could have sworn this was fixed at some point in the past - it may have gotten lost when we redid the way our theme works. But yeah, that's going out now and you can forget about seeing the white load once it goes live in ~5 minutes.
Compensation received 260 dust. Can't even craft a golden common with that.
Looking at the figures people are seeing I think they have swithced the golden versus regular costs. (sic!) Hope they fix this soon.
Two other interesting notes:
- When looking for what were the new golden Legacy cards in my collection I found that there were only 28 out of 6 packs (22 common, 5 rare, 1 epic). Two are somehow missing -- might be a hsreplay bug, so not putting this on Blizzard just yet.
- I am pretty sure I have now opened 10 golden classic packs which I think should have resulted in a golden legendary. At least I was previously led to believe that golden packs had their own pity timer based on something I read either here or on reddit. Can't be bothered to chase the source for this either. Anyone else never received the golden legendary from the golden packs?
PS. Turned out to be a moaning post, so I would just like to state that all the recent bugs aside I think the game is in a pretty good state at the moment. (Let's see how Quest Rouge manages in the Wild to see if it stays like that).
Pushed out another update to improve API response time to improve deckbuilder loading times and for everyone interacting with the collection manager manually.
Most users of the site probably wont notice this or care about it too much but if you spend hours deckbuilding or swapping between pages/refreshing pages you'll notice it quite a bit. Whenever you load up a new webpage there's a blindingly white blank page for just a split second. I don't know anything at all about building websites so I don't know how hard it would be to change, if it can be changed, or if it's even for just this site. It's gotten to the point where I close my eyes every time the site reloads or goes to a new page. Changing it to a darker color or just dimming it a bit would make a huge difference in my opinion. Overall the site is pretty awesome and it's my favorite place to build new decks, I'm really curious though if anyone else goes blind after doing it for too long.
