I think Alliestrasza judged this card correctly. It seems like it will see play in Warrior, for similar reasons to Quartermaster seeing play in Paladin.
for yoggchamp I cant recommend this deck enough, it is what did it for me:

Its wild but the only wild cards are commons and rares, it needs to be wild due to how important Anyfin is to the strategy.
The premise is to give yourself the initiative by giving the secret to your opponent to play (with mischief maker after sorting the deck via polkelt) and then playing into it at low health for a 2/9 chance that Anyfin Can Happen swaps the spell to Ultimate Infestation or Pyroblast.
The rest of the deck is a bunch of healing/survivability and card draw. Remember that once the opponent plays the secret you only have 1 chance so then you cant play anymore spells, for this reason id recommend prioritising spells where possible in early game, but in general you will nearly always have a close to full hand. you should be able to draw your deck by turn 10. try to have at least 1 hero under 5 health before casting anyfin, in a pinch you can do it under 10 and potentially get it via pyroblast but its a higher chance if you can count on UI as well.
It is still a super frustrating achievement but I got it after about 4 hours, its def possible and as far as im concerned this is the best way to target the achievement that I have been able to come up with.
This doesn't seem like a good card, at least in Wild. Usually you want to trigger "when a friendly minion dies" effects on your own turn, but taunt minions are rarely dying on your own turn, and even when they can, you rarely want to kill them off on your own turn.
Ironically (though probably intended), most of the mercenaries and just generally good cards in the expansion are 4-cost cards, meaning this one will have a tougher time finding a home than I thought. Although we don't know the effects yet, I'm confident it will be good somewhere.
They did Saurfang justice, it's a really cool card! Hard to say how good with only two 5-cost Frenzies revealed so far, but I got my hopes up for this one.
Then explain your idea. If eight people are willing to engage you in a discussion - and all in a civil tone - you may want to actually answer them and clarify your assumptions and ideas before dismissing everyone rudely.
Isn't this infinite with Winged Guardian? A 6/8 that summons a 6/1 with Taunt and a 6/8 without Taunt. The 6/1 will then summon a 6/8 without Taunt, and the 6/8 without Taunt will be Reborn into a 6/1 with Taunt.
Depends if the Plaguemaw copy that gets Reborn has Taunt or not, but it's an 11 Mana combo in Wild that can be countered by killing Plaguemaw without minions. Not excactly a problem.
Its main use will be to vomit out as many cards as it can be done on 4.
You can actually just jam him into any rogue deck and get value somehow, and since rogue tends to draw cards like the wind, not to mention Secret Passage being very handy, its not entirely out of the picture to just play everything from hand in one turn. Most of the time if you manage that then your average midrange opponent can almost never catch up.
And of course there's the fact that he is a win condition himself with cards like prep -> into scabbs -> Alex/Oil rig ambusher -> Potion of Illusion, which will get you another 1 mana scabbs. So with Shadowstep and Potion of Illusion we're looking at somewhere around 16 damage at minimum on turn 8-10. Its hardly Edwin VanCleef, but rogue having lost nearly all its win conditions except for hanar, it'll have to take anything it can get.
Similar to Corrupting Mist. That's right, that is a card that exists! To be fair, this also forces the opponent not to play minions, but I doubt it'll work that well.
Paladin keeps getting simply powerful cards. It doesn't matter what deck you're playing, 4/4/3 that deal 4 to a minion is really good, and there's a serious bunch of Paladin spells that are Holy so there's an additional great bonus.
I'm kinda sorta pretty sure weapon rogue nerfs are ready, since there's decent support for the archetype this expansion (assuming there will be either another Poison or a Poison-related legendary). If they deal with SSS, this could be a decent replacement.
Much like with Guardian Animals, a card that's very similar to this (pre-nerf), I'm guessing there will be at least one really good Deathrattle minion in the final reveal. But since they don't gain Rush, this is legendary so a one-off, and there's anti-synergy with Razorfen Beastmaster, I doubt this will end up nearly as good.
It pays for itself plus more. You are spending 4 mana to get 6 mana in discounts.
Right, but each card is discounted by less than the cost of Scabbs. So yes, you get to use more mana in 1 turn than you should be able to, but you cannot cheat anything out earlier than normal (without multi-turn shenanigans with things like Shadowstep or Potion of Illusion), which is very often where mana cheating becomes obnoxious.
Add in the fact that you quite often won't even use all 6 mana because of how cheap most rogue cards are, and you have to put a few asterisks on "get 6 mana in discounts".
Don't get me wrong, I think Scabbs is strong, but his ability to cheat mana cannot easily be compared to the cards of the the past which have taught us how broken mana cheating can be.
Tbh this is likely a good card in some wild highlander DH for Khartut Defender and something else. The standard DRDH doesn't seem like it'll work, at least for now.
Seems pretty good on paper, but feels polarizing? Either they trade/remove it (ok card, no big deal) or they're in trouble. Hard to say how often the latter will happen, but keep an eye out for this one.
Obsequious disagree with whatever new idea is being brought up replies. You guys already proved you didn't understand my post by your replies so I'm just gonna quit trying to convince you. Have fun seeing the same cards over and over again and playing with just 5% of your collection. Say what you want about me, but that fact says a lot about you.
I read your replies and they aren't even in response to what I'm proposing. Every one is just jumping down my throat at something I didn't even say. Just a lot of TLDR to make up for no point at all except, "i dont like the sound of this idea".
New Neutral Minion - Barrens Blacksmith
I think Alliestrasza judged this card correctly. It seems like it will see play in Warrior, for similar reasons to Quartermaster seeing play in Paladin.
New Neutral Minion - Kargal Battlescar
If you've summoned 4 watch posts, this is a 7 mana 25/25. Seems fine.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Vengeful Spirit
If deathrattle DH becomes a thing, this is excellent value.

New Druid Minion - Plaguemaw the Rotting
This doesn't seem like a good card, at least in Wild. Usually you want to trigger "when a friendly minion dies" effects on your own turn, but taunt minions are rarely dying on your own turn, and even when they can, you rarely want to kill them off on your own turn.

New Warlock Minion - Tamsin Roame
Not sure about Standard, but in Wild there must something that breaks this. Will be fun to see what works and what doesn't!
New Warrior Minion - Overlord Saurfang
They did Saurfang justice, it's a really cool card! Hard to say how good with only two 5-cost Frenzies revealed so far, but I got my hopes up for this one.

New Demon Hunter Minion - Razorfen Beastmaster
As much as I appreciate a new DH archtype that goes beyond blind-folded emo antiheroes, this one seems bad.
New Druid Minion - Plaguemaw the Rotting
Isn't this infinite with Winged Guardian? A 6/8 that summons a 6/1 with Taunt and a 6/8 without Taunt. The 6/1 will then summon a 6/8 without Taunt, and the 6/8 without Taunt will be Reborn into a 6/1 with Taunt.
Little more visual:
6/8 with Taunt and Reborn
*opponent plays SW: Ruin*
6/1 with Taunt 6/8 with Reborn
*opponent plays SW: Ruin*
6/8 with Reborn 6/1 with Taunt
and so on…
Depends if the Plaguemaw copy that gets Reborn has Taunt or not, but it's an 11 Mana combo in Wild that can be countered by killing Plaguemaw without minions. Not excactly a problem.
Cutterbutters.
Its main use will be to vomit out as many cards as it can be done on 4.

New Demon Hunter Spell - Sigil of Flame
Similar to Corrupting Mist. That's right, that is a card that exists! To be fair, this also forces the opponent not to play minions, but I doubt it'll work that well.
Reward track strategy
You get burst to level 20 within a day of finishing the daily and week quests.
Save up gold now for Barrens packs then maybe Duels, and expansion achievements.
New Paladin Minion - Cariel Roame
Paladin keeps getting simply powerful cards. It doesn't matter what deck you're playing, 4/4/3 that deal 4 to a minion is really good, and there's a serious bunch of Paladin spells that are Holy so there's an additional great bonus.
New Demon Hunter Spell - Sigil of Silence
Feels like it does too little to be worth it. It's 0 Mana though, doesn't interfere with Outcast much. Depends if Taunts become widespread.
New Rogue Weapon - Swinetusk Shank
I'm kinda sorta pretty sure weapon rogue nerfs are ready, since there's decent support for the archetype this expansion (assuming there will be either another Poison or a Poison-related legendary). If they deal with SSS, this could be a decent replacement.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Death Speaker Blackthorn
Much like with Guardian Animals, a card that's very similar to this (pre-nerf), I'm guessing there will be at least one really good Deathrattle minion in the final reveal. New Neutral Minion - Kargal Battlescar
I'm guessing there will be more support cause currently this is really bad, it's not like you can jam techs into your deck and win with a slow board.
New Neutral Minion - Mor'shan Watch Post
Seems pretty good on paper, but feels polarizing? Either they trade/remove it (ok card, no big deal) or they're in trouble. Hard to say how often the latter will happen, but keep an eye out for this one.

Good board clear for priest!
What deck (or decks) are you playing in the final week of the Year of the Phoenix?
HIghlander Secret/Dragon Mage has really been a blessing getting to play these cards in standard one last time. Climbed to diamond 8 so far with it.
