  • New Warrior Minion - Rokara

The card looks fair to me, but not bonkers. The condition that the minion needs to survive for this to get the buff is what holds this back I think.

Best case is you have board filled with minions, drop this, go face, them you have big minion that can rush.

  • New Rogue Minion - Scabbs Cutterbutter

    This card is bonkers.

    Pay 4 discount 6. Damn.

The only downside to this is for rogue decks that run cards greater than 3 mana.

  • New Neutral Minion - Primordial Protector

Unfortunately most 10 mana minions are battlecries

  • New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer

Holy Paladin= Librams + This + Cariel Roame

  • New Mage Minion - Varden Dawngrasp

    Wild only. Frostbolt rotated.

  • New Neutral Minion - Horde Operative

Too techy but at least it's  not a legendary

  • New Hunter Minion - Tavish Stormpike

i love the huge health, it's gonna be difficult to remove

  • New Druid Minion - Razormane Battleguard

    Taunt Druid

  • Horde Operative

You still have to play around those secrets, and your opponent will know exactly which secrets you have, but... hoo boy. Creating and playing secrets for free on a Spider Tank? That's pretty good.

  • Oil Rig Ambusher

Remember when Fire Plume Phoenix was top tier in Arena? Good times.

  • New Rogue Weapon - Swinetusk Shank

When you consider that all the weapon-buffing cards Weapon Rogue runs currently are poisons, there is a case to be made for Swinetusk Shank and if it can provide more consistent damage output than Self-Sharpening Sword. Considering Deadly Poison, Nitroboost Poison, and Paralytic Poison as well as each weapon being at full durability, it takes three poisons for Shank to have a higher damage output than Sword (given that two of these poisons buff the weapon's attack by two). Since Weapon Rogue wants to kill the opponent very quickly, this probably means Self-Sharpening Sword's higher immediate damage output will be more valued in the archetype than Swinetusk Shank as they aren't often stacking three weapon buffs on a single weapon.

  • New Druid Minion - Razormane Battleguard

These are all the taunt minions in standard.

You can play this with Bonechewer Brawler or Annoy-o-Tron on turn 2. If your opponent can't answer it, you can easily snowball the game.

Imagine dropping Greybough on turn 3, or to a lesser extent Teacher's Pet or Ruststeed Raider.

  • New Druid Minion - Plaguemaw the Rotting

Insane payoff card for big druid.

Hide this behind Greybough and/or other taunts, say goodbye to any board based strategies. Plague of Death and The Amazing Reno are rotating out too,

  • Should Blizzard Adjust Draw Rates of Over-performing Cards?

    Quote From Live4vrRdieTryn

Again, this strategy already has success in Arena where outperforming classes have less likely drafts of higher winrate cards.

I think I've already responded pretty fully to your comments about how this would work, but this probably merits further discussion.

This comparison is very bad. All of the systems in place for Arena that do this exist to make drafting more consequential (e.g. the bucket system that uses win rate and pick rate data to group cards and avoid "instant pick" situations where two out of three cards are trash).

Presumably you mean to draw a parallel with your proposal and Blizzard's tinkering with the odds of seeing certain cards in these drafting pools. But there's no proper corollary for that in constructed because the contents of the deck are not determined randomly*. The closest you could get would be something like "At the start of the game, for each card C, you have some probability P(C) that C gets replaced with a random card, where P(C) depends on the win rate of C." But that's obviously terrible.

It makes sense to use these kinds of win rate statistics to ensure a balanced playing field for drafting because players want to feel like their choices matter when they draft their decks; playing Arena should never feel like you're just playing Hearthstone with a random pile of 30 cards. This is basically the same reason Blizzard prints lots of different tech cards to deploy in constructed dependent on the meta - they want you to feel like your deck-building choices matter, and that smart choices will yield better outcomes when you finally play the game. It makes no sense to do this for the game itself, as it would simply punish players for using good cards and make their deck-building/drafting choices less impactful by virtue of making it harder for players to draw the cards they chose to play.

*Technically you could have the deck building randomly fill in your deck, but you'd still be choosing to do that, so it's not exactly random.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Death Speaker Blackthorn

Insane effect if DH gets deathrattle support cards. The effects can pull up to 15 mana worth of power.

Reminds of Guardian Animals, but with death rattle and more bodies.

  • The Ultimate Timmy Turalyon Guide! [Duels]

Nice guide! Waiting on cards draft suggestions.

  • New Warrior Minion - Mor'shan Elite

First impression is this works best in a hand buff, weapon centric warrior.

Base line is 8/8 worth of stats for 5 mana across 2 bodies with taunt. Not bad in iteself (fair value).

However, If handbuffing strats work, this has a lot of potential for a board swing.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Kurtrus Ashfallen

Solid removal card on 4, hit 2 for 3 and leave a 3/4 on board.

Reminds me of Illidari Felblade, hits less but affects 2 minions instead of 1.

  • New Warrior Minion - Warsong Envoy

Has lot of potential when dropped on 1 and as participant in a broom swing turn.

  • New Hunter Minion - Tavish Stormpike

    Beast deck payoff card.

    Ideal scenario:

    • You have beasts on board
    • Drop this and starving buzzard
    • Cycle though your deck and establish board tempo
  • New Neutral Minion - Horde Operative

This will be the only secret tech option in standard that punishes multiple secrets, which has been often desired from such a tech. However, Horde Operative doesn't remove the enemy secrets, but rather gets you more tempo to potentially swing the game. We've seen secrets be viable in Rogue, Mage, and Hunter recently, but I still think Operative will suffer from being a tech against something that isn't universal like Acidic Swamp Ooze and weapons.

  • New Paladin Spell - Conviction (Rank 1)

Nice card. Paladin burst damage from hand for 1 mana as long as you have 3 minions on board.

Will have place on board centric paladin decks.

  • New Hunter Spell - Tame Beast (Rank 1)

On its own, Tame Beast (Rank 1) looks somewhat mediocre, but I don't think it will take a lot extra to support this. Tavish Stormpike seems crazy with this on turn five to summon a three cost beast from your deck, not to mention additional beast buffing synergies with cards like Dire Frenzy. I think this will be an efficient tool to support a Midrange Beast Hunter archetype with the tools the archetype is getting with the upcoming rotation.

  • New Hunter Minion - Tavish Stormpike

This is pretty scary on turn five with Tame Beast (Rank 1) cheating out a Zixor, Apex Predator into a two-cost beast. The main challenge with Tavish Stormpike is going to be constructing the deck and figuring out what beasts or beast-summoning cards are worth including. That being said, Tavish has the potential to create a massive swing turn and help justify Dire Frenzy as Tavish can pull buffed beasts from your deck. We'll have to see all of the available beasts, but I won't be sleeping on Tavish.

  • New Warrior Minion - Warsong Envoy

This is basically a Warbot with additional upside, which can be useful for Tempo Warriors that utilize self damage/frenzy. Warsong Envoy also curves really well into Cruel Taskmaster. My only question is if this archetype can work and keep up with other aggressive archetype since Warrior lost Battle Rage, and will have to compete against Secret Passage, Skull of Gul'dan, and Hand of Gul'dan.
