I thought they said they were backing away from resource generation and long games.
Whatever, this card is insane, and not just for Greybough. Any minion you cast it on is obviously one you chose to have in your deck, so you're not sad to cast it on any of your Taunt minions, really.
When I first learned of ranked spells, I was like, "Oh, those could be really powerful in Druid. Maybe Druid won't even get them."
When I saw this was a Druid ranked spell, I was like, "Uh-oh, they actually gave a ranked spell to Druid. Is it broken?"
After I read the card, I was like, "Ah, so they didn't actually give Druid a ranked spell. This is fine."
Targeted draw is always playable, and the mana reduction keeps it from utterly sucking, but let's be real: This is an utter waste of a ranked spell. They could have released the middle version on its own, and it would be exactly as good as this ranked version.
To make proper use of the ranked mechanism, the scaling part should be something like a stat boost, or even adding increasingly potent keywords, or an additional keyword at each rank.
I think having it draw more beasts would've been a better way to do it and just keep the 1 mana discount. I think they tried to account for druid's ramp but ended up making it too wea
I keep seeing new cards and saying, "Damn, [insert class name] is going to be fun to play!" (Except when it's DH, because that class is dumb.)
Everybody's all about Mozaki, it seems, but this is actually excellent support for the hero power archetype as well. Being able to freeze the leftovers after you cook the board with your Fireblast will be important, and doing it for free is just icing on the cake (pardon the puns -- sorry not sorry).
It's going to be very hard to get anything to stick on board against Tempo Mage, and if you do, it will probably just get frozen. (You just know they have more Frost spells to reveal!)
I highly doubt that they removed Frost Nova and Blizzard from standard to just reveal more freezes
Certainly no more board-wide freezes, but there's plenty of room for single-target freezes.
One could argue that they removed the AoE ones to make room for other ones.

First one requires you to actually get onto the board
Second one requires you to have a spell that also heals and targets minions (which then means wasting ressources to keep enemy mminions alive which is the opposite of what you want)
New Mage Spell - Flurry (Rank 1)
It's a good card, but I was waiting for a ranked damage spell
New Priest Minion - Priest of An'she
If you manage to use the ability is a very strong card, 5 mana 8/8 taunt is just too powerful
Priest of An'she
you heard about 4 mana 7/7 now prepare for 5 mana 8/8
New Druid Spell - Mark of the Spikeshell
I thought they said they were backing away from resource generation and long games.

Invigorating Sermon
slow but seems ok for agro
New Druid Spell - Living Seed (Rank 1)

TecMundo Reveals a New Forged in the Barrens Druid Card - Living Seed (Rank 1)
Completely agree. The art that progresses is really fun.
New Priest Minion - Priest of An'she
Not impactful enough, you're not gonna run Desperate Prayer just to activate this and on 7 mana with Hero Power it's way too slow.
Veteran Warmedic
So the paladin variant of the priest card
New Mage Spell - Flurry (Rank 1)

They really want to push healing priest, which is actually a good thing I guess
HeiGe Reveals a New Forged in the Barrens Druid Card - Mark of the Spikeshell
and the copy is already corrupted right?
Cariel Roame
even just 1 attack seems good for this card
New Priest Minion - Priest of An'she
Works on turn 5 with Desperate Prayer and a very good aggro stomper, should* see play
*It's possible priest will have better archetypes where this card isn't used.
Cannonmaster Smythe
The text doesn't make it really clear if it changes in your hand too or not, i assume not
Tars Reveals a New Forged in the Barrens Priest Card - Priest of An'she
I think its safe to say that if your target for a holy spell tutor card is Desperate Prayer, you will certainly be praying very soon indeed
Flurry Reveals a New Forged in the Barrens Mage Card - Flurry (Rank 1)
I kind of love this.
Flurry (Rank 1)
0 mana seems really good as a discover but idk about having it in your deck
New Paladin Spell - Invigorating Sermon
Idk, its Prince Keleseth plus Mark of the Wild plus Smuggler's Run in one card, I can definitely see it finding a place somewhere in the class that has dudes on demand
Reckless Apprentice
i wonder how fun this would be with discover on other classes other than mage
Mordresh Fire Eye
Idk if this is good enough as it's really slow and doesnt ignore deathrattle but seems like fun
New Mage Minion - Reckless Apprentice
Called it!
Flurry (Rank 1)
Tame Beast (Rank 1)
seems nice but early game idk if that 2 mana rush is enough
New Druid Spell - Living Seed (Rank 1)
