Nice simple card, use it when you're behind, use to lower the cost of your hand, use for anything that cares about casting a lot of spells, and if that "healing into damage" thing comes back, then you can try to finish with it when you're ahead. All good!
I like this just for its newness. . . +3 damage for lightning based spells, and maybe water or wind or earth spells as well. Its utility will of course depend on what spells are in the rotation, and I would imagine that as such, cheap face spells will probably begin and end with Lightning Bolt.
As it is, though, I already enjoy playing control shaman with a bunch of board clears, and this guy could help replace Hagatha's Scheme, at least a little bit.
Ok, when I read this one, I imagine the frenzy effect sends a copy of the card, with a buff, into your deck, which would mean a 3/4 with frenzy that then shuffles a copy of itself into the deck with frenzy, and so on. This being part of an expansion, along with info that all classes will have some access to card draw, means that this guy could end up being seen a LOT. That bit about "permanent" +2/+1 makes me wonder. . . when that 3/4 gets hit and shuffles, is it adding that 2/1 to a 3/4, giving you a 5/5 with frenzy in your deck? That seems kinda bananas, i would assume it's shuffling a 1.0 Sunscale in there, giving you bunches of 3/4 raptors.
Of course, if all this thing does is shuffle a 3/4 raptor with no frenzy, then it's just an ok to good 1 drop.
Looks like a good one, 7 damage removal minimum that will usually leave a 6/7 taunt behind on a class that can ramp up to it? Sure! Similar in a way to Crowd Roaster, stickier, but the damage can be thwarted by a taunt. I think it'll see a lot of use, not as a meta-busting card, but an always useful utility piece.
Maybe Finja will be one of the mercenaries. I know it's pretty unlikely but that would be amazing. This would make sense as we can see Bru'kan in Chain Lightning (Rank 1) (and the other ranks) and we can see someone who is presumably a warlock mercenary in the background of all the ranks of Imp Swarm (Rank 1).
I don´t play LoR, but man, these are amazing. I really appreciate someone who can draw, this is something I truly admire, cause I can´t draw... anything at all (apart from the stick man, really :D) Amazing job!
Hmm… Now that I think about it… Why do they call him "Dragon Chow"?
Lol exactly my thoughts just seconds before I read the sentence XD
On the other hand: it wouldn't be the only card that could have a comeback. There's people thinking that we'll see a new Kazakus, because of some artwork having a resemblance of his belt.
Now I look at it, the first teaser image is actually a perfect match for Kazakus' belt, which has a bit too much going on for it to be coincidental. Maybe MSoG will have a sizable appearance after all.
Now my mind wonders back towards Iksar saying "We have the first version of a 'newer, cooler' cosmetic coming soon, so looking forward to seeing what people think." Tri-class hero portraits of Aya, Kazakus and/or Don Han'cho maybe? Man, what a slap in the face to us rogues it would be (again) if we finally get another non-Valeera hero, and have to share it with shaman and druid. I'm not sure if I'd be fuming or applauding the sheer audacity of it.
With the amount of burst being removed from the core set, I could see 3 "inevitable" face damage being highly valued in the post-rotation meta. That being said, Mankrik doesn't make sense in decks that don't have a lot of efficient card draw as you risk Mankrik being just a 3/4 more often than not. Because of this, I see Mankrik fitting into both Rogue and Demon Hunter easily.
Idk. I think it's more likely that it's a card that references him. The artwork just looks too much of that of a background character.

I imagine seeing Blademaster Samuro in Libram Paladin as a replacement for lists that run Wild Pyromancer (which won't be in the core set) and for being a decent board clear on its own with multiple Libram of Wisdoms. I have a tough time seeing this in any other class without seeing more of the expansion cards as no other class cares as much about a Whirlwind effect or have a consistent way to buff Samuro's attack. Warrior is losing a lot of its enrage synergy losing both Inner Rage and Battle Rage in the core set, so they will have a tougher time justifying running Samuro. Overall, Samuro doesn't have the most universal effect, but that effect will work extremely well with classes that have the tools to take advantage of it.
Thinking 100% that's gotta be him. He was a pretty popular little guy and it's been a while since murlocs had their time to shine. Don't write them off, crabrider and flyer are solid additions!
Erkh Value Rogue
Looking good, Regis! Saw you pilot this deck on your livestream a few days ago. Thank you for sharing the list!
Happy PI day
I'm pretty certain I don't teach math and I've been celebrating Pi Day for as long as I can remember.
A great reason to have some delicious Apple Pie for dessert and maybe have a Pizza =D
Happy Pi Day all!
Happy PI day
it's an official holiday :)
NationaI PI day
Happy PI day
What are you a math teacher? I don't know anyone else who would care for Pi day.

New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer

New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
I like this just for its newness. . . +3 damage for lightning based spells, and maybe water or wind or earth spells as well. Its utility will of course depend on what spells are in the rotation, and I would imagine that as such, cheap face spells will probably begin and end with Lightning Bolt.

Hearthstone's 300th Tavern Brawl is Just a Hallucination... I Hope - The Disappointing Nature of Tavern Brawl
I think they should implement this mode into friendly matches.
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor
Ok, when I read this one, I imagine the frenzy effect sends a copy of the card, with a buff, into your deck, which would mean a 3/4 with frenzy that then shuffles a copy of itself into the deck with frenzy, and so on. New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
I think this will see play. Shaman is loaded with spells that could fallunder Nature, so +3 damage will be good
Weekend Wild Hearthstone Decks - Pure Paladin, Mill Rogue, Spiteful Quest Shaman, and More!
This deck by Roffle is by far my favorite DH deck. It's double Yogg for double the shenanigans!
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Shado-Pan Rider it is!
On the frozen fields - The nod to Northrend
On a misty night - The nod to the artwork.
A fair knight comes to play - A nod to it being a knight of sorts.
Even though it's not mundane - Nod to it being on a class not known for knighthood.
It's quite balanced I have to say - Vainilla stats if comboed after turn 5.
New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
Too weak since it's only a one time effect
New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
Huge value, not too bad stats
The Return of Finja?
Maybe Finja will be one of the mercenaries. I know it's pretty unlikely but that would be amazing. This would make sense as we can see Bru'kan in Chain Lightning (Rank 1) (and the other ranks) and we can see someone who is presumably a warlock mercenary in the background of all the ranks of Imp Swarm (Rank 1).

when you hover the mouse over on Dragon Affinity it show hero power not duel treasure.

Maybe they'll both return in some form?
