Are we allowed to submit cards we've posted before? I made this in "Here's Some Art, Make A Card" and I think it fits this competition well, but if not I'll go back and come up with something new.

DavnanKillder: I like both of these cards. Nixue would be completely broken in Mage but it works since Shaman currently only has single-target freezing, and Disguised Saboteur is a really fun concept. I'd say find some more Winter-flavored art for the saboteur though since it doesn't really have Christmas flavor (it doesn't have to but I think it would help).
Wailor: Frostbitter Raider is a hilarious card that could actually be good in certain circumstances, and the Ghost of Winterveil Past is a fun one (I'd go with the neutral one out of the two).
BloodMefist: Good handbuff support, I like it.
Demonxz95: You can just say "Discover a Secret and cast it" since Ring Toss did that. I like the idea, but maybe make it a secret from another class to better fit Rogue since the art isn't very Roguish.
anchorm4n: Maybe do it as 2 damage to a random enemy for each, that would still make it good without giving Hunter too good of a board clear.
FieselFitz: I don't think going for all three prompts works for this contest, either ditch the secret requirement or the enemy Water Elemental.
KANSAS: Good effect, but I'd try to give it more Christmas/Winter flavor. That's not a requirement, but it wouldn't surprise me if that helps in this comp.
DestroyerR: I like it, good flavor and cool effect.
Demonxz95. Good effect, but pretty simple.
linkblade91: Interesting, but I think it's a little overcomplicated and I'm not sure how your opponent would be able to get rid of the Ice Pillar.
Not gonna lie, their little apology thing did get me to log back in. I then played one little game of Tavern Brawl (the 4-card ban thing) and destroyed someone with token druid aggro (Mark of the Lotus, Power of the Wild, Dreamway Guardians, and Gibberling), and logged back out. Haven't been back in again since.
I keep finding that i draw clowns before the dark portal, unlucky enough to keep doing so even after plot twist x2... i switched out bane of doom for a deck of chaos ... (as not only do i keep drawing at least one clown before portal, but i also reduce the y'shaarj instead of the the other clown, so one clown is impossible to corrupt) just in case i manage to portal x2 and still have a clown in deck... then it can also be a 4mana card, with 9 attack...
if all goes perfectly (and you play chaos first with no drawn minions)... you get 4 total boards of 9/4 taunts potentially.
Ok, we can buy snowballs in the shop for a "Snowpocalypse". I really want to know what this is and how it works. I want to go full-on Face Hunter and smorc all yer faces with snowballs!
Yeah so pretty much everyone agrees my first version of the card is too complex and hard to balance. I think I'll just submit my second version immediately now since there aren't any changes that I can give the card.
Feedback:

linkblade91: Pretty decent flavor imo and overall the card isn't too complex. My only issue is that it's pretty RNG since the Ice Pillar freezes random minions and can even hit itself. Not only that, some classes aren't able to deal with it so they might just instalose the moment it comes down. My suggestion would be to change Ice Pillar so it hits only other friendly minions and then make it so that it has an easier time dying as maybe a 0/3 or 0/4.
Wailor: Honestly, I was about to bring a card like Frostbitten Raider but I just couldn't find the right art for it so I decided against it. Ghost of Winterveil Past is pretty solid as well though I prefer it if it is Neutral rather than Rogue because the effect seems par for other Neutral Epics like Mischief Maker or Drakkari Trickster. Personally, I'd go with Frostbitten Raider since its effect is more interesting as it has no counterpart in the game.
Demonxz95: It should be illegal to reuse really good cards like this lmao. Gift Wrapper is also a pretty good card, it's not as good as Ice Sculptor but it has solid flavor and balance.
BloodMeFist: I think Festive Crusader is pretty weak and could be a 1/5 if you plan to make it a Battlecry effect. Honestly, I'd preferred if it was a Deathrattle effect so you could have an easier time making the second part of the text matter, in which case it should be a 1/1 or a 1/2. Flavorwise it's a bit weak but I don't have too much suggestions for you. You could probably rename it into something like Mysterious Champion or something along those lines.
anchorm4n: I don't think I have an issue with Christmas Tree aside from the fact that it is called Christmas Tree and that it doesn't really look like one. My suggestion is to either change the art or the name. Balancewise I think it's better if you use the Rare version because I think the Epic version could be really hard to deal with and it incentivizes your opponent to trigger your secrets even more and that's already bad but they also have a 2/5 to deal with. It could steamroll pretty quickly. My suggestion for the Epic one is to change it so that it's a round start effect instead or make it a 2/3.
DestroyeR: Flavorwise it's pretty good but the card needs better clarification as to how it works. Like by giving it back does it mean that it will return to the deck or to their hand? Also, the card could also be similar to Carnivorous Cube where it just has a Deathrattle instead to return the cards. It makes it more interesting imo but maybe it's too strong with Shadowstep effects.
DavnanKillder: Disguised Saboteur is a bit unplayable since it requires too many things to be playable. You could honestly buff it so it triggers whenever a minion is summoned so you still have a combo potential or just make it deal 3 damage and give it less attack and more health. Nixue is good, no changes from me.
KANSAS: Spectral Tiger is really solid, I think that card is really flavorful and balanced so I don't think I can think of anything wrong with it. Maybe make it Rare but it's just as fine as an Epic.
FieselFitz: The card has design issues that I can't really grasp how balanced it is. Honestly, the card is fine if it summons a Water Elemental for you only but it'd be boring that way.
Returning the favor, some feedback, and like some said, the level of this competition is great, almost all the cards are pretty good o.o.

I don't know if Razor Petal counts, but the other two I believe are OK. A very good advantage card. Good job.
I was actually hyped when Rastakhan's rumble released but it wasn't long before the entire set was deemed too weak for much consideration. The power level and the cards we're seeing in RR is likely intentionally weak, forming the triumvirate with Witchwood and boomsday as the weakest set of expansions ever released (perhaps only surpassed by TGT in weakness), as a reactionary follow up against the huge spike in power introduced during the Ungoro-Kobolds expansions.
Could team5 have made better cards, especially given that overkill remains one of the weakest descriptions today? The answer is an obvious yes. The adventure in RR (which I feel is perhaps the best solo adventure ever released) is more than enough proof that it wasn't for the lack of ideas. But the consequences would have been severe to push it too far, as we have seen in KotFT, where death knights were so overwhelmingly good that they remain staples even in wild today. To put a small example, we can easily imagine bloodwash medic or war heralder as a 3 mana 2/3, and it will still be one of the best cards in their respective classes today.
I remember there was one interview of sorts that what we see in the RR adventure was sort of the initial idea for RR's core design, especially how the shrine works, but the dev then explained that this wasn't implemented cause' then every game would revolve around shrines. Its kinda a design balance; cards have to be good, but not too good or the next expansion would need to ramp the power levels every time just to keep up.
In my opinion, that's too many sets to be considered a one-off mechanic or keyword, and more than the two we're loosely allowing with callback cards. It didn't rise to prominence until Ashes of Outland, and we might not even see much of it again, but I would argue Dormant has become an evergreen keyword. Edit: Apparently, Magic the Gathering has a term for this situation, "deciduous". Not truly evergreen, but not a one-off either. Regardless, it is not acceptable for the prompt.
The issue here is that the line between what a "mechanic" is and is not can get kinda blurry. For instance, I would've said "Dormant for 2 turns" or "Stealth for 1 turn" are expansion-specific mechanics, even if both Dormant and Stealth are not. If it's not an unreasonable amount of work to do, I'd probably suggest making an extensive list of what is considered a mechanic. But again, it might be too much work.
My card was supposed to be a joke, but it received relatively good feedback, so I dunno... I think I'll just repost it along my two variations of my more serious card.
I'm not sure if the parenthesised part of the Rogue one (pun not intended) is worded correctly.

Not sure if I'm a fan of the idea of giving your opponent a 0 Attack minion with a detrimental effect, since it's too dependant on the type of deck your opponent might have. I'd make it 1 Attack with tons of Health, so that it is at least possible to get rid of it in any scenario (as long as you play minions, of course).
Also, it suffers a bit from being forced (because of the three prompts thingy), but it could definetily be worse in this aspect.

I'm not sure about giving access to Secrets to all classes, but it's kind of a sloppy effect, so it won't be easy to abuse. In fact, its biggest abuser would probably be Paladin, which is already a Secret class, so…
EDIT: I see you thought the same and made a Paladin version. It definetly fits the class more than Neutral, but it loses a ton of flavor, which was its greatest strength, so I don't know what to tell you…

Pretty good flavor. I like the second version better, since the first one is too complex. Also, combining swarm with Freeze effects is a very good way of distinguishing Freeze Shaman from Freeze Mage.

My main issue is that the artwork screams Druid to me, but that isn't a Secret class. I don't see a good way to fix this, unfortunatelly.
Between the two versions, I'd say I prefer the Epic one, even if it should probably drop the statline to 2/4 (plus "Secrets" should go bolded and capitalized, I believe).

The Kobold Schemer comes up with new schemes for the League of E.V.I.L., while the Pupil of the Moon can potentially be reborn multiple times if you can keep it alive long enough to play a spell after it first dies.

DavnanKillder: There's a good idea here with M.U.R.L.O.C., but (1) it'll probably be pretty hard to take advantage of the overkill with only 2 Attack and (2) I think the flavor is confused by trying to make it both a Mech and a Murloc, I'd find new art and stick to Murloc. Sand Shark has too little health to take advantage of the overkill Adaptation, and I think the Enchanted Shotgun is too wordy.
BloodMefist: I like Magnetron, I think the pricing is fair and the effect encourages build-around.
Anchorm4n: Zevrad is decent, but Spell Scribe isn't valid since Dormant has been used in 4 different sets (although I do like the implementation of it).
DestroyerR: I like it, the infinite Spellburst is offset by the work it takes to reset it.
Wailor: I actually like the Spook-o-Raptor, I like that the later you play it the more powerful it becomes. I would recommend buffing the health to 3 and maybe a new name (may I suggest Terrordactyl or Tyrannoscarus?)
linkblade91: This guy is very scary, especially since you can get him up to 4 Soul Fragments for 1 Mana in DH. Either limit it to Warlock or reduce the amount of initial Fragments to 1.
Demonxz95. Not too flashy but a good effect and fits the flavor, I like it (but maybe switch the set to GA which actually had Reborn).
Rastakhan's Rumble isn't exactly my favorite hearthstone expansion, but it still holds a place in my heart because it's the expansion that got me playing hearthstone again. It's the only expansion i've bought a preoder for. And it's the expansion with, in my opinion, the best trailer theme. Roll it.
This is my favorite hearthstone trailer yet, and i listen to the instrumental version all the time when i'm working because i enjoy it so much. But i feel that this expansion had a lot of potential even though it was such a letdown let's start with the set mechanic Overkill.
Overkill was the set mechanic for Rastakhan's Rumble and if you haven't checked in a while like i hadn't you'd notice there are only 14 cards with the mechanic, compare that to other sets at the time like boomsday project(magnetic-12), or witchwood(echo-13)and you'll notice a trend. There were very few cards with the mechanic back in the day. Which i will explain later as a detriment for the set. But staying on topic. Compare that to recent expansions. Rise of Shadows(Twinspell-8, Lackey-7), Saviors of Uldum(reborn-18), Decent of Dragons(invoke-17, Lackey-2)(galakrond's awakening giving more of old set mechanics(Twinspell-3, Reborn-2, Lackey-2)), Scholo(Spellburst-20), And this trend is not slowing down so far with Madness at the Darkmoon Faire having 27 corrupt cards, and that's not counting the miniset still to come, which i believe will add more corrupt cards to make Y'Shaarj, the Defiler worth using.
And that's my point. There wasn't enough of the mechanic for it to work, and there weren't good enough effect for the mechanic to see play. Some would argue we're running into that second problem with corrupt. And people ask: "Where are the good overkill effects, Why weren't there any that see play at all?" And i lead into the crux of my argument. Rumble. Run.
If you haven't thought about this game mode in a while, i can't blame you, let me give you a refresher.
You play as this guy Rikkar, And whichever path you choose for him, based on a Zandalari deity he changes his style and way of play which i think is really cool.
Show Spoiler
You know what this HEAVILY reminds me of? Transfer Student, This could have been a 2 mana 2/2 "transfer student like" effect or galakrond like effect where the neutral card would change style depending on which class you played it in and have an effect from the rumble run. Either acting as a "Mini-shrine" of sorts or maybe even a mini version of the Rastakhan deity. My personal thoughts for the rikkar effects based on the shrines would have been:
Perhaps a controversial shrine to pick here, but mage had a lot of synergy that was waste with hero power in RR
Djinni of Zephyrs That would actually see play as a 2 mana 2/2 Plus it works with the paladin spirit
All of the priest shrines would be controversial picks here, i would change this to only minions if it were to be added.
Another class with three controversial shrines if added, i feel this is the least controversial pick and it's an effect that can be dealt with easily on a 2/2
Shaman is interesting since 2/3 shrines have already been added as of late with Vessina and Corrupt the Waters
Another class with three degenerate shrines, if added it would be either a one turn effect or a one time effect, Potential otks involved…
An easy pick. And since warriors are basically the Rush class it should be fine
Now to answer the question from earlier "Where are all the good overkill cards?" They were sent to rumble run to spare the main game mode. Rumble Run was not a balanced game mode if you remember right. And all the broken cards were very broken, but some of these i think can be EASILY salvaged into working cards for the main game mode with stat and cost changes, especially with what powercreep we've gotten since.
Show Spoiler
If you're wondering where the good overkill cards went? There they are. Some better than others obviously but can you imagine? Imagine ravenous familiar in discard warlock. Redcrest rocker in dragon warrior which struggled so hard to remain relevant over doctor boom. Showstopping conjurer to fish for luna's pocket galaxy. Direhorn stomper and astral raptor. Even The fan favorite could have been a 10 mana 10/10 pack filler that would have been a GREAT pull off of Oondasta.
When people say this expansion is bad i get a little upset because i know it is bad. But it had so much potential to not be. And i think it was a great inspiration for future sets to come. Thanks for reading if you did, praise gonk.
Went for a much more radical design this time around. Like most Magnetic minions, this one is pretty bad on its own, but has some powerful potential. I felt Hunter was the most interesting of the three 'Magnetic classes' (Paladin, Hunter, Warrior) to put it in since their Mechs are also typically Deathrattle oriented. Balance is a bit hard on this one since it has some scary potential.
Linkblade91 - I see you've already submitted, but I do believe this card falls victim of trying too hard to follow all 3 prompts. The Secret requirement doesn't seem to do anything with the card flavorwise. I am glad that you changed Ice Pillar to "another" minion though.
Wailor - Not the most original idea in the world, but it's one that I like regardless.
BloodMefist - I think this card is fairly decently balanced. It's not really usably in Mage since they have to rely on Neutral cards to buff it. It's better in Hunter and Paladin which have access to handbuff cards. Cards which require buffing to be good are usually hit or miss as far as their viability, so I feel like this most likely wouldn't be overpowered. Nice flavor though.
FenrirWulf - I do agree with the choice of making it a Shaman card. The first version is more flavorful, although it also seems less playable and mechanically interesting than the second version. Second version is pretty good though.
Anchorm4n - I really like this card and I would personally give it a pretty good rating. That said, you might be weary of some people who will penalize it for being a Hunter AoE card. Unfortunately, some people will penalize any card that bends a class's weaknesses regardless of its actual strength or how often Blizzard does it themselves. Perhaps that would make for an interesting comp?
DestroyerR - Really flavorful, but there are some weird interactions to consider. Are all card given back regardless of where they are? (hand, deck, battlefield, etc.) What about dead minions? Do they go back as well?
DavnanKillder - Disguised Saboteur should have the passive effect first, then the Battlecry. I like the idea of the card, but it's unfortunately very weak. Your opponent can easily play around it by not playing many minions and even if they do play one or two, it's probably not going to be the end of the world for them. And you're also giving them a 2/5 minion. 4 mana to do all that for your opponent and nothing for you is not too great. Nixue, the Awake Winter is a little better although I agree with KANSAS in that you should change the name and the wording. What KANSAS wrote actually works really well there.
KANSAS - I do think it should probably have Stealth from the start. Too weak otherwise. I do like the idea though. Recurring Stealth as long as you play more Secrets. I will say though that the artwork doesn't really fit the Christmas-y theme of the comp.
FieselFitz - I think this is another card that falls victim of trying to do every prompt at once and the card suffering for it. I think it just has too much things going on that could be reworked or cut entirely. You need to have a comma after Secret, and the art isn't too Christmas-y either.
The flavor behind the tree was that full secrets kinda looks like a Christmas tree, so killing the tree on the board would get you a bigger Secret tree. Neutral secrets seemed like a bad idea and monster tree isn't in flavor for Paladins, so I retooled the basic idea into something more cohesive based on feedback.
Speaking of, I'll try to get feedback out by tonight!
Linkblade91 - Nice flavor, although I do feel that duplicating your Soul Fragments might end up leading to too much healing.
Wailor - I pretty much agree with Ancorm4n. It's by no means a bad idea, but it seems difficult to balance properly and it's not that original either.
BloodMefist - I think this has an unintended quirk with the way Echo works. It seems to read as if you need to Corrupt each temporary copy for them to generate again. This is otherwise though, a fine card.
DestroyerR - The effect of refreshing Spellburst seems neat, but in practice I feel like it wouldn't change much. Decent idea though.
DavnanKillder - Sand Shark is a funny card with a fine idea, although the effect does have a weird interaction. Overkill doesn't require the minion to survive, so would it be possible to Adapt into Rocky Carapace or Volcanic Might to save it from death if it would've otherwise died? Power Word: Drowse seems really neat though I'm not sure if it would be better than Maiev Shadowsong. Enchanted Shotgun seems like a neat idea. The Spellburst is flavorful although I'm not sure if it's "necessary" compared to Combustion, and some people might penalize it on the basis that it's Hunter AoE regardless of its power level.
Anchorm4n - I am quite fond of both of your cards. I really like Zevrad because Big Demons DH is an archetype I would actually like to see get some play (or really anything that isn't just "draw your deck, gain Attack, hit the face"). Sleepy Spell Scribe is a cool Spell Damage card.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
Made some changes to make the Disguised Sabateur more strong and changed the name and the wording of Nixue.
Some feedback later!

Thanks for the feedback guys!
Changed some stats and text in the cards.

Returning the favor, some feedback, and like some said, the level of this competition is great, almost all the cards are pretty good o.o.
Demonxz95
Liked. Simple and efficient. Good job.
linkblade91
Very good card. I believe it's ready to go.
Wailor
Very powerful effect, but seems balanced to me in 3-cost. Don't liked the art, besides that, 5/5 to me.
BloodMefist
Interesting way use of Corrupt to give Echo in Grim Work. Since Hunter has almost no buff, Magnetron seems prety go to me and the best of the two. God Job!
DestroyerR
To me seems ok, maybe changing his Health to 2. Besides that, liked the combination and the Spellburst refresh idea.
anchorm4n
Zevrad seems prety good, but Sleepy's a amazing design to me and I think can be a 2-cost minion, since she will go dormant for two turns for each spell, sadly, Dormant now is DQ =(.
Hordaki
Liked both cards, like you said, this competition level is great. The idea of Kobold Schemer to me is the best, but I believe Scheme is not a Keyword, so I dont know if it's legal =(.
ChickyChick
I don't know if Razor Petal counts, but the other two I believe are OK. A very good advantage card. Good job.
Let's talk about Rastakhan's Rumble.
Card Design Conversation - Spaced Out
Really dig the design of the "launch" mechanic can definitely see it making a Hearthstone debut.
Also, kuddos to making a seemingly viable Myra! Opened a golden version of her and always wanted her to be good.
When Worlds Collide - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
The issue here is that the line between what a "mechanic" is and is not can get kinda blurry. For instance, I would've said "Dormant for 2 turns" or "Stealth for 1 turn" are expansion-specific mechanics, even if both Dormant and Stealth are not. If it's not an unreasonable amount of work to do, I'd probably suggest making an extensive list of what is considered a mechanic. But again, it might be too much work.
Secret Santa Snowdown - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
My card was supposed to be a joke, but it received relatively good feedback, so I dunno... I think I'll just repost it along my two variations of my more serious card.
I'm not sure if the parenthesised part of the Rogue one (pun not intended) is worded correctly.
Feedback:
linkblade91
Also, it suffers a bit from being forced (because of the three prompts thingy), but it could definetily be worse in this aspect.
Demonxz95
BloodMefist
EDIT: I see you thought the same and made a Paladin version. It definetly fits the class more than Neutral, but it loses a ton of flavor, which was its greatest strength, so I don't know what to tell you…
FenrirWulf
anchorm4n
Between the two versions, I'd say I prefer the Epic one, even if it should probably drop the statline to 2/4 (plus "Secrets" should go bolded and capitalized, I believe).
DestroyerR
DalvanKillder
neither "heroes" nor "unfreeze" should be capitalized. I'd also use thaw instead of unfreeze.

Let's talk about Rastakhan's Rumble.
I really loved a lot of cards in RR and the setting, but i will say it got kinda shrug off hard in HS history, when you look back.
When Worlds Collide - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
Gotta say, I'm really liking the creativity people are bringing to this competition both here and with those already submitted.
The Kobold Schemer comes up with new schemes for the League of E.V.I.L., while the Pupil of the Moon can potentially be reborn multiple times if you can keep it alive long enough to play a spell after it first dies.
Feedback time:

So is this coincidence or is one of you a DbA fan?
Let's talk about Rastakhan's Rumble.
tl:dr
Let's talk about Rastakhan's Rumble.
Roll it.
When Worlds Collide - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
Since Dormant is not valid, I made a new Epic card. Well, Overkill is all around hahah.
When Worlds Collide - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
Went for a much more radical design this time around. Like most Magnetic minions, this one is pretty bad on its own, but has some powerful potential. I felt Hunter was the most interesting of the three 'Magnetic classes' (Paladin, Hunter, Warrior) to put it in since their Mechs are also typically Deathrattle oriented. Balance is a bit hard on this one since it has some scary potential.
Will try to get to feedback sometime tonight!

Feedback
Secret Santa Snowdown - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

When Worlds Collide - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
Dormant appears in four sets beyond Ashes of Outland:
In my opinion, that's too many sets to be considered a one-off mechanic or keyword, and more than the two we're loosely allowing with callback cards. It didn't rise to prominence until Ashes of Outland, and we might not even see much of it again, but I would argue Dormant has become an evergreen keyword. Edit: Apparently, Magic the Gathering has a term for this situation, "deciduous". Not truly evergreen, but not a one-off either. Regardless, it is not acceptable for the prompt.
