I fear Hunter is on the brink of a major identity crisis. As long as Demon Hunter runs rampant on ladder, Hunter will be in trouble. Hunter just doesn't have tools to deal with the tempo that DH can unleash. Hunter's only chance is to burn them down fast. Hunter has always relied on a strong curve to maintain tempo, and has always had very few comeback mechanics to regain tempo when it has been lost. Unless DH is nerfed to oblivion, Hunter is doomed to become obsolete. 

Great article.  Since it was the last subject in the article I will touch on the subject matter though.  I'm fine with warrior being the dumpster class for a little bit.

They saw a huge amount of play with Dr Boom Mad Genius for the year of 2019 until he was nerfed, and then recently with the un-nerfs to the card, he saw a short but high resurgance.  

I won't miss hearing "This story deserves a new ending" and just conceding cause the warrior just auto-wins through fatigue and not through any real skill inherent in the deck.

It's quite ok for classes to take the back seat every once in awhile. 

Besides being quite sure we're going to see a particularly famous tree in card-form soon, I gotta say they (SixMoreVodka if I'm not mistaken) once again provided us with some fantastic artwork for these cards.

I tried to bold the part about the show running monthly on Kibler's YT channel, but I agree I should've made this clearer as my title said the show was returning which implies a return to the old weekly release format.

But on a happier note, imo, they sounded more optimistic about the prospects of the show returning in this episode as opposed to the previous episode.  And in the Q/A someone asked about setting up a Patreon account for the show and Frodan said they'd really like to avoid having folks donate which makes me think they have potential sponsors in mind (question gets asked around the 1hr, 49min mark).

Very insightful recap! I've been waiting for this as I've been fooling around with a lot of decks and didn't know which one to use for laddering haha. 

Spell Mage has potential, but is very dependent on its freeze cards i think. You either stall the game long enough to unleash a plethora of burn spells or get rushed down by an early wave of minions. I have to say though, it's quite satisfying freezing Demon Hunters every turn.
