  • New Priest Minion - Imprisoned Homunculus

One of the better imprisoned minons when drawn on curve, but absolutely awful when topdecked. Since they removed all card draw from priest, they will need cards that can be good at any point in the game.

  • Shadow Council

For me, it's too much random to be played. But it can surprise me, maybe because of the +2/+2...

  • New Warlock Spell - Hand of Gul'dan

Looks okay - but 3 different cards don't make a standard disco-lock possible.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Kayn Sunfury

it's a strong card but not on it's own.

without a strong board to take use of it's ability or a hero with a high attack it's a 4 mana Lightning bolt on a body.

It's obviously a finisher but Demon Hunter will need to rely on having minions stick to the board long enough for this guy to be effective, and I can't see them swarming the field and they're minions aren't that healthy

  • New Priest Spell - Apotheosis

This is an excellent buff, but buff priest needs more card draw to be viable. Shame they nerfed Power Word: Shield into the ground.

  • New Priest Minion - Dragonmaw Sentinel

Excellent in a dedicated Dragon Priest, bad outside of that. Will probably only see play in some kind of Highlander Dragon Priest.

  • New Priest Minion - Dragonmaw Overseer

If a tempo zoo-style priest exists, it will be because of this card. However, I think the HoF of Northshire Cleric has forever ruined the chance of that deck being any kind of viable.

  • New Priest Spell - Psyche Split

    Quote From dapperdog

Faceless Manipulator is more flexible. Too bad.

You can summon enemy minions but also give them a buff. Really up to you whether Faceless Manipulator is the better of the two.

I think it's slightly better than Faceless Manipulator, but that card isn't played in priest and neither will this one.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Fel Summoner

Probably only demon hunter card which also looks nice.

  • Nagrand Slam

Definitely an excellent late game card. You can boost it, you cango face, you can combo with cards that triggers when a minion dies, and it seems really reallyfunny to play!

  • New Priest Minion - Sethekk Veilweaver

It's a neat mini-Lyra, that's a lot cheaper but can only proc from targeted spells. Might see play in some weird miracle-style decks.

  • New Priest Minion - Skeletal Dragon

It's a neat value generator, but I think that Priest gets enough random cards from Galakrond. Don't see it seeing much play outside of dedicated dragon decks, which I'm not sure will exist because they don't have a real win condition. Maybe Highlander Dragon Priest?

  • New Priest Minion - Reliquary of Souls

It's a decent defensive 1-drop that gives you a slightly worse Winged Guardian. Still a decent card when compared to most of Priest's other cards.

  • Ysiel Windsinger

Might be good for some combos in wild, but i can't see a deck with it in the standard mode... it's too weak to survive one turn at this point of the game, and even if its cost reduced by another card, still too weak... at the 10th turn, play one spell or maybe two with some other card and a 5/5 body is notstrong enough.

  • New Priest Spell - Soul Mirror

I don't actually think that this card is very good. All minions with more health than attack survive, which is only good if your opponent can do less with them the following turn than you can the turn after that. At 7 mana, it's really expensive for such a poor board clear.

  • New Neutral Minion - Dragonmaw Sky Stalker

Less OP than the other 'deathrattle summon minion2 '- minions of the expansion, while still strong. They probably don't want to support dragons much further, but demon decks now.

  • Pure Control Paladin

I don't understand the inclusion of Underlight Angling Rod: this deck has no Murloc synergy outside of Murgur Murgurgle, which is playable on its own.

I think Paladin has far better cards to play ([Hearthstone Card (Tirion Fordiring) Not Found] for example) and you should stick with those.

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - Metamorphosis

It's like changing your hero power with a weapon that can't be destroyed but better, because you don't take any damage.   It's mana cost at 5 makes it and OK card but you can't play until turn 6.  With the Skull of Gul'dan you can draw it for two and that's pretty good. I see the card as a finisher or to remove some big minion without taking face damage.

  • Ashes of Outland Giveaway - Card Packs & Site Cosmetics

Nice, a giveaway. I was wondering if you'll be doing one for this expansion.

  • New Demon Hunter Weapon - Warglaives of Azzinoth

This card seems like a worse alternative to Chaos Nova in nearly every situation for a slower deck, and looks too much like Assassin's Blade for a faster one. Maybe if some kind of combo needs you to attack a lot of times in one turn? Otherwise, tentatively a bad card.

  • Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Upcoming Demon Hunter Initiate Set (Part 2)

Feast of Souls, while very good, is not in the same tier as Skull of Gul'dan and therefore I predict that its either going to be nerf contender no. 2, or just plain never seen. There's already plenty of cards that allows dhunter to draw and I don't think, outside of combo decks, they would need something close to Divine Favor just yet.

Eye Beam on the other hand, is my personal nerf contender no. 1. I'm somewhat surprised that the statement from this article merely concludes that it is "very strong". This card swings tempo, and swings tempo as early as turn 1-2 with your opponent effectively locked out by dhunter's own powerful turn 1s and 2. Effectively speaking, if you get this from your mulligan along with a 1-2 drop curve, I'm convinced that you can never lose that game outside of facing control decks. At its best, it clears your opponent's 1-2 drop while ensuring you would be able to establish your own board completely unhindered. Even OP cards like Backstab still only dealt 2 damage and can be skirted by playing a 3 health minion (not exactly rare considering that 2/3s are a staple for turn 2), forcing a hero power from rogue. Eye Beam deals 3 damage, will often be played for no mana, swings tempo, and bizarrely, is capable of healing as well. Even at 3 mana, its essentially a Bash, and is decent. This will likely be in all dhunter decks bar none.

Raging Felscreamer will likely get a small but significant nerf by being turned into a demon. Being a able to stack discounts, and on top of that, discounts that persists between turns is always dangerous. Dhunters are not exactly lacking in very strong demons, so this one will see play in almost all midrange dhunter lists. Dropping a Priestess of Fury turn 5 is a game winning play, very much akin to dropping Ragnaros the Firelord on turn 6.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Pit Commander

Very expensive, very big piles of stats tend to make poor control finishers. Maybe this can be accelerated out with Raging Felscreamer, but this, and by extension the 'big demon' concept, still seems like a worse finisher than some kind of spell spam with demon hunter's large set of zero cost cards. This will almost certainly get better as more support is printed.

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - Blade Dance

    Poor old Savagery.

This card is bonkers. Very strong removal and you can still attack with the hero. Plus

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - Feast of Souls

This is going to end up in every DH deck. I mean, its 2 mana and the class likes to generate tokens.

I cant see an archetype where this card isnt strong. Even drawing 2 cards for 2 mana seems strong.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Kayn Sunfury

4 mana for only three damage probably means that this is worse than Consume Magic
