That would make a lot of sense. I was kinda worried that with 7 people losing each round it would discourage people from playing unless you were a super good player.
I dont think anything like that was revealed yet. I would say probably not. At least not yet.
But i dont see how this wont become extremely popular, so i think they will build upon it, might even make some tournaments later.
Will it really though? With all the recent autobattlers being released already the market for them seems rather oversaturated.
You have to remember: the question isn't "will this become as popular as TFT/Underlords/etc?", its "if we invest more development towards this, will we see a worthy return on investment? " I suspect the answer will ultimately be yes...but only if they announce that post-beta, there will be an entrance fee a la Arena.
This is a panel u could watch for free on the Battle.net. I was watching it there. So why u guys put disinformation about that u must have virtual ticket to watch it?
Everyone got Marin regardless of whether or not we purchased the ticket, so there's always hope. A smaller chance, considering we're already getting 5 free legendaries, but it's there.
If not, like you said, he will most certainly be craftable or obtained through packs.
"If you don’t have a Galakrond as your Hero, or in your hand or deck, then Invoking has no effect."
So like C'thun, Invoke appears to upgrade Galakrond "wherever it is", so long as it's actually in the game. Besides, from what we have seen, the Invoke cards appear to be relatively understatted, so a mediocre effect for its mana cost only gets paid off by the activation of Galakrond's hero power. From what we have seen, the hero powers are not insanely broken, and actually compliment the class's deck building mindset quite well. However, whether or not the Invoke cards in combination with the activation of Galakrond's hero power is worth playing at all or breaks the game beyond all meaning, is to be determined.
There are 8 players, only 1 will win, which means that your odds of winning aren't as good. And I imagine that these games will go a lot slower than a regular 1v1 match.
Waxadred seems pretty good, a 5 Mana 7/5 Dragon might be playable even without any additional effects, we've never seen a 5-drop with such high total stats and no downside before.
New Hunter Minion - Dwarven Sharpshooter

You can find all Battlegrounds heroes - and their hero powers - and cards - and their upgrades - in the official hearthstone website
New Mage Minion - Malygos, Aspect of Magic
This is going to be great! 6 mana 2/8 if your holding a dragon Polymorph an enemy minion!
This is going to be a good card, mark my words.
Everything We Know About Hearthstone Battlegrounds - Upcoming Autochess Game Mode
a "win" will probably be determined for the top 4 players of each match i would bet
New Priest Minion - Fate Weaver
This is just broken. 4 mana instant Emperor. And it is an epic so you can play 2 of them.

Take On A Sidequest - A New Mechanic in Descent of Dragons
Are Side quests for all classes or only for the 4 League of Heroes classes (Mage, Paladin, Druid and Hunter)?
New Priest Hero - Galakrond, the Unspeakable
Which I guess gives Priest Infinite cards in the Late-game, which from Deathstalker Rexxar and Dr.Boom's Hero Powers has been shown to be quite good

Questions I'd ask:
1. I assume there's no story mode for this expansion, since Auto Chess is being promoted.
2. Madam Lazul's comment in the trailer really mean anything at this point?
New Mage Minion - Malygos, Aspect of Magic
The example showed a fireball that did 8 damage, an arcane intellect that drew 4 cards, and a polymorph that costed 1.
I'd imagine it discovers upgraded versions of basic mage spells.
Seems pretty damn good.
Descent of Dragons - Who is Galakrond and How Does It Work?
Quoting from the article:

New Warrior Minion - Deathwing, Mad Aspect
Not gonna lie: my first thought was directed to Mogu Fleshshaper Mutate shenanigans
Malygos, Aspect of Magic
Explanations?
New Hunter Spell - Corrosive Breath
This is literally just Cobra Shot but for 3 less Mana and with a dragon restriction. Just goes to show how bad that card was.
New Rogue Minion - Waxadred
Waxadred seems pretty good, a 5 Mana 7/5 Dragon might be playable even without any additional effects, we've never seen a 5-drop with such high total stats and no downside before.
