oh the design of Quest Druid is absolutely flawed and is only balanced by the fact that it's incredibly vulnerable during the first few turns.

Honestly, if other Ramp Druid are to succeed they need to either have early game options that Quest can't use or have midgame options that are better than Oasis Surger into Nourish/Hidden Oasis.

because outside of that the only thing that could possibly remove Quest Druid from the pole position are nerfs that target the deck specifically....which wouuldn't really be justified since the deck is so heavily polarized and easily countered.

Do we know if this will be available for free to all of us poor guys?

It will really depend on the HP, since Rogue it's the only one seen so far, yeah, it is ok. But if something crazy comes for any of the other classes, well... Let's say that rogue also has the 1-mana give a minion +1/0, "Invoke" AND add a Lackey to your hand. For 1 mana is strong... Let's just think of Zoolock if it becomes a thing... 1-mana +1/0 to all minions AND... do something else.

Knowing Warlock it won't be broken, but... Nothing's broken until it is.

Will you have permanent access to galakronds hero power once you play galakrond himself (replaces ur hero for the rest of the game)? Will invoke cards also trigger his hero power, even though he is already in play?

eh, it's a better approach then before. It's basically Zul'jin: a lategame powerplay that you have to upgrade over the course of the game, with the difference being that the pwoerlevel is much more evenly divided between isntant effect and long term value.

Well, perhaps therein lies a problem with the design of the druid quest. You may be right that the quest will work with dragons, but I hope not, lest the only druids we see for the next year and a bit are quest druids.

yeah sure, let'S give Priest a 7-mana quadra MC, that's not broken or anything

I mean, quadra-assasinate for 7 is already comparable to Psychic Scream in terms of removal and it's not like Priest needs help at the moment (unless they finally trash Divine Spirit)

Before crafting anything, keep in mind that about a month a new set will launch (Everything You Need to Know About Descent of Dragons - BlizzCon Reveal - Top Hearthstone Decks, News, Community - Out of Cards) so it is probably a good idea to save your dust. I wouldn't invest in a top-tier meta deck just yet, it is a good idea to wait and open some packs first before crafting a deck. Quest shaman is probably a good deck to play in the mean time because you only need to craft one legendary for it, Corrupt the Waters and you already have vessina.

I mean, it's not like Quest Druid runs an insane amount of Choose one cards. All you really need for the quest to be worth it is Oasis Surger, Hidden Oasis, Starfall and Nourish. Add Innervate and Crystal Merchant for consistency and that's the Quest Shell.

Everything else is easily replaced with a new win condition. Ysera, for instance seems like a great lategame card. Basically another Nomi with a bit of an RNG twist.

I don't think you can make a new Druid archetype that doesn't use the quest unless Dragon Druid gets support cards that are so good that you want to run as many dragons as humanly possible and there's just no space for a quest package. Because if not, why run a deck in which you pray to get Dream Breath in your mulligan so you can ramp efficiently instead of a deck where you'll always start with your "ramp" card in hand and powerspike much harder post turn 4/5.

we had a 2 mana 2/3 that had the same effect this card powercreep that card but that card never saw any play and hunter was all about the face back then.. looks good.
