Now I'm not a terribly competitive HS player, so I don't play an awful lot of ladder, usually just a burst at the end of the month to get to rank 5-ish. As such I don't have any golden portraits.
One thing I keep noticing is that the number of wins on classes that I'm not really active with at the moment seems to go down with time. Even my least favourite classes had at least double digit wins last time I checked and now there are classes with only single-digit numbers of registered wins. For example, I played a bunch of aggro rogue during the Genn and Baku meta and now it says I have 19 wins with Rogue, which is absolutely not correct.
Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed something similar? Am I slowly going mad?
If it is the case that wins reset between seasons/rotations or w/e, I'd find that pretty demotivating - after all what's the point of slowly building up wins if they just disappear into the aether- but I'd like to know about it at least.
Please, please, please release Eater of Secrets back into Standard as part of this October patch. There are no good anti-secret tech cards now. I would give anything to screw over the next Hunter with this card!
Mech Paladin is really good right now. Very few classes run silence other than Priests... and Mages (polymorph; conjurer's calling) are nowhere to be found.
"What's that? You played a card? Here, let's disconnect you and reconnect after your turn ended. Oh! And the card you played? Sorry, it didn't resolve."
This for two games in a row. And no, no Internet issues whatsoever. Proof is I was watching HGG in my phone with the same internet connection.
I'm curious what impact if any this will have on Wild. I don't know if it would pull people away from Wild during the time of the event, or encourage people to try some things in Wild since they may have some new cards, or want to play with some old ones again.
Well, what can I say. Its not the best card, but since its a highlander deck, doubling you dragons (or those from Dragon Roar) can give you quite some value. For sure its not a mandatory card in that and could be swapped for another dragon or battlecry card.
Yeah, as the previous poster said, the Wild meta is pretty crazy right now and I must admit I'm not too familiar with it as of late. I also think that in Wild, running Master's Call might not be worth the cost of missing out on cards like Mad Scientist. That said, I think if I were to play a version of this deck in Wild keeping Master's Call, some cards I'd look to fit in from older sets might be Haunted Creeper, Wandering Monster, Cat Trick, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, Deathstalker Rexxar, Quick Shot, and perhaps Call of the Wild. What you cut depends on what decks you might be facing but I'd probably start with Misdirection, 1 or both Lifedrinkers, and maybe a Hunter's Mark.
I’m glad I never dusted my golden Hemet Jungle Hunter, makes for some really fun games with Hakkar and Benedictus. Best part is, just about no decks run any way of getting rid of the Corrupted Blood. Zentimo’s another fun one, since playing him with a Hex is great. Was tempted to dust him since I didn’t play Shaman at the time.
Theres a good few I have that I do hope become at least somewhat viable later on, though I really doubt most of them will
The weird thing is that it was released with the tombs of terror, but in the tombs of terror you play on the regular uldum board (which I actually like better so I don't mind it, but it's still weird). Maybe it will be used in the last wing and/or the final encounter?
Class wins resetting?

Get Those Ranked Wins - End of Season Standard Laddering Awesomeness

Event: 23 Cards Moving from Wild to Standard (Ragnaros & N'Zoth Included), 1000 Win Portraits, More Events
My point is, I never do it anyway, but now I don't even have any kind of possibility for upside if I ever decided to...
Event: 23 Cards Moving from Wild to Standard (Ragnaros & N'Zoth Included), 1000 Win Portraits, More Events
Finally, we gonna have some reward for these wins above 500.
I'm still thinking we should get achievement system, it would interesting trying to hit specific aims.
Were the 23 Wild Cards Coming to Standard for an Event Leaked?
Low key, this might be Blizzard testing a rotating Classic set. I'd be alright with that.

This is a good list of cards to shake up the meta and kudos to Blizzard for giving this 23 cards to everyone for the limited event.
