I know this doesn't fix your HDT problem, but you could play on android with the app Arcane Tracker, it also has an overlay and saves all your data to HSReplay. I love it when at work :)
thanks for the suggestion, I don't really wanna run HS through an android emulator though. The downgrade in the games interface would be worse than not having deck tracker.
I get that it's cool if you're playing it on mobile though.
I think that mech paladin is still better than otk paladin. Something to realize is that snip snap has antisynergy with army so don't include snip snap
I wonder if they would update Nightmare Amalgam if new tribes were added. Interestingly, the way that Hench-Clan Hag is worded makes it more future-proof, but the tokens still read like Nightmare Amalgam.
We got no new tribes since Un'goro and I think it would be nice to have new ones. Lets speculate what tribes should be added to Hearthstone and what we may see in the future
I can see three potential tribes
1) Plants. We have tons of plants in druid as well as several neutral plants. 2) Oozes (there are quite a fey slimes\oozes in wild, including stuff that generates slimes\oozes. Standard currently has 4 (acdic\underbelly ooze, floop, 1\1 token generated by the 2/4 rogue mech) 3) Ghosts (There are enough ghosts\spirits\phantoms\shades\wisp to make them a tribe. Cards like cursed castaway and arfus are a problem)
My identity is a really old one. It came from my early days playing yahoo pool. These days I prefer to go by Cue but it's usually always taken or whatever platform I'm signing up to needs 4 or more characters minimum so I just go for the full name cue killar. Geez I've been called this for over 20 years now D: I feel so old now!
Mech hunter was already the top deck in the current meta and the mech buffs only made it stronger. it sucks but I'm not salty about it. Every class gets its day in the sun.

I liked Bomb Hunter because it was the only deck that played "charge" anymore. But, as anyone who watched Silvername in GM league last week knows, it's a pretty weak deck if it's disrupted the slightest bit.
Oblivitron Deathrattle is one of my favorite decks of the expansion, but it just can't make it through the early game with much consistency.
The new Midrange Deathrattle Hunter seems like an excellent marriage of the two. All of the fast starts of Bomb Hunter, but better - you're going wide with 1/1's instead of 0/2's. And late game in the form of Whelp+Nine Lives. It also has more draw than Bomb Hunter thanks to Nine Lives, which isn't insignificant. It's a mindless deck, but I'm really liking it at the moment.
(FWIW, Vicious Syndicate is currently showing that Hunter has the highest winrate at legend, and I believe it's this deck.)
From you list of decks you can't do or tried, they are all Warlock. I am gonna go out on a limb and say you want to play Warlock decks.
There was a Warlock deck I made not too long ago for wild - Even-Reno-Mecha'thun - combine the aspects of all the arch types into one. You play the Mecha'thun combo with Catacylsm, Bloodbloom, & Emperor. You include Genn and Reno and build around singleton with only even costs. You would need to fine tune it to your liking, but when you open with the Genn hero power, then later play Reno to stall more, they generally will not see the Mecha'thun combo coming.
Your gamertag, nickname, whatever you want to call it. How did you land on yours?
Mine started out as a name for my main character in WoW. Warangel just seemed like an appropriate name for a retribution paladin. From there it became the name I use for pretty much all my gaming endeavors.
actually I totally got ahead of myself. it seems that some parts are working, bot others aren't. it still won't sync up with my decks. last update was 2 days ago.
It sucks that they lock the arena for 6-8 hours before they (attempt to) upgrade the game.
The solution is to be aware of when updates are going to happen and plan your day accordingly. Get some fresh air or something. (What anime features an MMO where the protagonist decides the game should be unavailable on certain days of the week? I forget.)
Six to eight hours is not an unreasonable lockout period for you to work around, and it's certainly not a "punishment." This thread basically boils down to you saying, "I am impatient." You should not feel persecuted when people tell you, "Yes, you are indeed impatient."
I think I got it working. "no deck mode" was activated when I checked the app. I don't know if switching this off fixed it or it was a coincidence, but it appears deck tracker is working again at least as I can see the win counter at the bottom of the screen.
If anyone has this issue, try running HDT in admin mode once HS is already running. I think this is what solved my issue after all.
That's a fair point. Since you mention tutoring, I'll point to Master's Call. I also think about how much value is generated. Even with Zul'Jin recasting Frenzy and Call in the best possible order with the best possible targets, you still only have a limited number of buffed minions. Does anyone think Prelate's infinite value is problematic?
The fact that no one is using it should tell you something. Maybe one day there could be a Prelate meta, but at the moment it's nearly impossible to tutor, so it's hard to abuse.
In fact, that points to the real issue here -- permanent buffs are not really a problem. The problem is that Team 5 has consistently undervalued tutor effects. The kobold that draws a weapon, Crystology, Raiding Party, even Spirit of the Frog ... all of these are extremely prone to abuse because of their low mana cost and specific wording.
The answer is that Team 5 needs to be very careful about the mana costs and wording of tutor cards. Hiking the cost of permanent buffs would only treat the symptom, not the disease.
Recommend me a fun deck

How Did Your Gamer Name Become Your Gamer Name?
I wanted something dark and shady, to evoke Rogue, and natural, to evoke Druid. And that's where "Raven" comes from.
Then i wanted a radiant (but still natural) image, to bring balance, and that's the "Sun".
Merging them together, generating some half-poetic oxymoron is meant to evoke the 'magical' power of words (Mage and Priest).
How Did Your Gamer Name Become Your Gamer Name?
No context needed. One of the best characters and shows ever :)

I met the illustrious Giant Haystacks when I was a kid. He was, and still is, the largest thing ever and deserves to be remembered. :)
Necromechanic Hunter with SN1P-SN4P
All joking aside, I'm 6-0 with this deck. It's not bad at all.
Top 2 - Standard
My all-time favorite brawl --- yeah, I'm weird.

Mech Hunter in standard after rotation?
Can we edit titles? Maybe this can be renamed "Mech Hunter after Buffs."
So right now, it appears we have 3 types of Mech Hunter
- Bomb
- Oblivitron Deathrattle (w/ Zul'jin)
- Midrange Deathrattle

Token druid is the best counter against any and all hunters.

Basically same situation as yours, WoW character name I used and then just decided to continue using it for convenience. :)

Arena locking before rotation only punishes the arena players

Should permanent buffs (Dire Frenzy, Immortal Prelate) include a cost increase?
