Seeing some of the comments in this thread makes me feel so much more encouraged about adding people after a game only to say literally nothing and watch them flip out because they wanted to be flamed and didn't get their attention-quota for the day. Hehehe! Delicious :-P
I usually accept the flamers not for the attention, but to let them just rant for a moment and get it off their chest. If they are that upset over losing a game of Hearthstone they need to vent or they'll explode from bottling up all that anger.
In the occasion that I don't add them it's because they were a special kind of asshole during the match and don't deserve the satisfaction of venting and calling me homosexual slurs, saying they've slept with my mom, etc.
Being married or having children doesn't mean you are an expert in social intelligence.
It's not a comment about social intelligence. It's a comment about his choice of insult (virgin). I don't think I need to spell out why having children is relevant here
I can't even start to imagine levels of insecurity, that made this remark happen.
I played Yu-Gi-Oh for many years. more than once during tournament play. Customary handshakes and good game was expected after each match, regardless of how you felt about the match.
Imo, Hearthstone shouldn't be the exclusion for that simply because it is an online game. In all other card games it is actually good manners to well played or good game your opponent. Looking back on my years in HS I find it silly how many arbitrary and presumptuous rules the community dictates to itself for 'reasons'.
We can make all of the arbitrary nonsense we want about the entitlement of only well playing someone if only we had a good game (or the opponent) or we can just be adults and follow common courtesy during competition. When you think about it that way the choice to pick should be obvious.
This is not so much of a salty post as it is a genuinely curious question to those whom ARE salty.
Personally I have enjoyed playing with and against Sn1p-Sn4p (in standard sorry to go fairly off topic of your thread I just do not know how to create a thread yet)
Now I am a Paladin main (yes the N'Zoth Control kind we do still exist as much as we died thanks to the stupid brain dead odd paladin of old) however I miss the games of REAL control and value, no matter what class I play it seems that Warrior is always going to out value EVER other class. I know that there are counters, and some games can be won by playing heavier aggression or strong mid range decks.
My curious question is how does Blizzard not feel there is an inherent issue with Warriors ability to constantly create infinite value. I personally LOVE Archivist Elisiana I think it is a genuinely COOL card that can be ran in EVERY deck so that is not the issue. My issue personally (and please feel free to disagree with me) is with Dr. Boom Mad genius...the warrior player is able to discover (with class card buffs of course) mechs that ALL have rush and INSANE stacking battlecry effects...I am just perplexed as to how this was seen as completely fine for the game where as Tempo Rogue that was simply killing people fast was viewed as bad for the game...?
I have been playing HS for well over 3 years almost 4 now, I have not been here since day one, however I remember a time when most games were a battle of winning or losing by turns 6-8 (not much different than the now nerfed Tempo Rogue games)
Once again not really a salty post as more of a discussion opener. Thanks in advance for input and thoughts :)
Although since this is here, there actually IS something I wanted to test, since I noticed the amount of text per line on this site is a little bit longer than on HearthPwn.
On HearthPwn, one line could only hold 3 cards at a size of 200 x 272 (which is slightly different for Legendary cards). This site looks like it can fit 4.
EDIT: It does fit 4! Do you guys have any idea how huge this is? This is amazing.
Will this site be supporting innkeeper? I think that was one of the best hearthpwn features, being able to see what decks you can make with your current collection. Otherwise the "dust cost" value of a deck is pretty much meaningless since most people only care about how many cards they're missing.
I bought the bundle. Best 20$ investment ever in HS. 4 legendaries, 7 epics, and a hero portrait. But you know... if I win the free bundle my wife could really use one and I'll look like a pretty neat guy for giving it to her.... please.

I have to admit, I didn't expect this thread to got this far. Thanks everyone for the helpful comments!
Several of you mentioned not adding friends. I usually don't (for exactly the reasons you mentioned), but for some reason I did this time. Probably cured me of ever doing it again LoL.
Oh well, lesson learned I guess. I'll probably be a lot more careful about emoting in the future.
Hi everyone! Been playing Hearthstone since Naxx, been reading Hearthpwn almost as long. Never made an account before, but figured this was a good time to jump in! Was hoping to do my first post in the Pepper Thread, but can't figure out how to add a screenshot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hey! To post a screenshot you first need to upload the image to a hosting site like imgur, then you want to use the url it will provide you (where the image is stored). Be sure it is the direct link; this means it has the file extension at the end, like .jpg or .png.
On the forum here you can just paste it into the post and the image should appear, or click the image button beside the link button in the editor and enter the link there (there's additional sizing options there, just make sure it isn't too big).

One of the buttons in the post interface has a button that reads "Insert/edit image". Upload your image to an image sharing site (Imgur would probably be the best one), and copy the URL. Click the aforementioned "Insert/edit image" button and paste the URL into the box that reads "Source". You'll know you did it right when the Dimensions numbers come up.

Deck Recipe maker with support for Custom Cards.
End goal is to support custom *everything* =D
I do not have a timeline on any of that though and card competitions would likely not allow the use of custom classes and sets, though some may.

Would this have support for custom classes too? What about support for custom classes/sets outside of your own?

Their selling point would be Lei Shen, but it has nothing special imo. I think HS need to have more creative costumer items like what valve do

Did Kripp actually get lucky or something? Did that cause this?

There's a long list of stuff we want to support with regards to custom card design, decks is one of them. ^^
