Hopefully this site will also have a Card Design Competition, was always fun to compete in that. Now I'll have to get my Card Design Champion status again! :P
I like to play something different, so I am playing Freeze Mage, specifically SoLegit's list: https://hearthstone-decks.net/freeze-mage-19-legend-solegiths/
I believe one of the reasons we didnt see much of nerfs and balance fixes is dust refund. Developers might know the way to fix the game but management will never allow them to nerf too much high rarity cards. Since they dont have to dust refund buffed cards we can hope for a lot of buffs. I mean A LOT, they are not limited with economy issues (unless of course they buff smth so much they have to nerf it after). So it kinda untie hands of developers. At least I want to believe it
I'm really surprised that there's no notification system on when the threads we posted to / followed have an update yet. It's the feature that made me finally relents and sign up for Hearthpwn. Hope to see it here soon.
Priest is actually pretty bad in Standard, with few uncompetitive option avaible at the moment. On Wild you have Big Priest as the most played option but it's such a boring deck (both to play with or against), but at last there are some other archetype around even if not so competitive.
In HS history the Class as rarely recieved some love and each time was with some clearly broken cards (like Drakonid Operative or Raza the Chained). The Basic set itself doesn't help much to the consistency of the Class through the years, since is one of the worst probably because they've given to Priest a duality between both is Holy and Shadow sides.
I would be happy to see a more costant support to the Class in each expansion set (since a rework of Basic is something that they're not considering actually), without the need to make it brokenly OP or terribly bad each time.
The full dust value principle is: "You crafted this card because it was strong and you wanted to build a deck around it, but now we nerfed it, so here you go, you can disenchant them for full price". Why would they give refund treatment to buffed cards? "You disenchanted these cards because they were bad, but now we buffed them, so now you can disenchant them again...?"
About the F2P player. I am one of those, and I'm glad they're doing this; it allows for more decks to be decent, and opens up a lot of design space. This is something that I've learnt since I started playing the game - back in Beta - that is don't disenchant legendaries or epic unless you really don't like their effect or are a part of a class that you don't care about playing. You'll never gain anything by disenchanting a legendary for 400 dust, especially nowadays, when once you have a legendary you'll never open it in a pack again. Hell, I still have Duskfallen Aviana in my collection, and that card is utter garbage.
It's the usual game of resource management; you choose whether it's worth it or not. But a game with more playable cards make for a more diverse game. Not doing so because players will have to be more cautious about their resource management isn't a good enough reason
Al right bois. Im with you. Lets make Fluxpwn great again in its next incarnation. Also its nice to hear about MTG will be here as well since there no such friendly and solid site as Hearthpwn about mtg. I really hope it will work out. Good luck!
Edit: I just realized comment pages are are from oldest to newest. That's so bizarre, hope there will be custom comment sorting or something. Not like its big of a problem, but its very unobvious thb. I was thinking it didn't send it at all for some reason
The rules are simple: the user above you has a card, let's say it is Wisp. If they say (health), you must find a card that has the same health as Wisp does. If they say (attack), or (cost), you do the same, but for attack or cost respectively. You can also name a keyword or (part of) the effect, but try to only do this when there are cards with (a part of) the same effect, or else we'll get stuck. Also, for minions-weapons, health=durability.
Will you guys be building a deck tracker like Innkeeper? I loved that it tracked what you had and when you would check hearthpwn you could easlysee what you could build/craft.
Sad to see hearthpwn go but happy to see this new site grow

I'm excited to join! Sad to see HearthPwn leave, but I had no idea Hearthstation even existed until I heard about Out of Cards.
Can't wait to see this grow outside of Curse's control.
Welcome to the Priest Forum!
Priest class needs more love from Blizzard. Miracle Nomi Priest is not what we want from the class.

I already play The Stormbringer in my murloc shaman build. 1 turn sooner is appreciated, and am I the only one who really loves the Art of Sn1p/ Sn4p?

So, now let's start with: Chillwind Yeti (attack)
Your task: find a card that has 4 attack.
