When did they break Crafting? (Archon Items)
Archon Items no longer give their guaranteed Stat, or even 6 affixes. Did this happen in a patch notice somewhere over the years and Item text was never updated, or is this a recent thing?

Archon items have actually been removed from the game on PTR as part of the crafting overhaul. Largely, these recipes aren't needed anymore, since all crafted items roll intelligently for the class crafting them.
The original bug is interesting but shouldn't be an issue after 2.3.0 since the recipes are being removed.
