Just dropping by to ask a little thing because I can't play to test it out: after we cube an item, do we get a little line of text under it after we find other copies, saying something like "You already cubed this item"? Else it will be very hard to remember what we cubed and what we didn't.
If you attempt to cube an item you already have, you'll receive an error and your materials shouldn't be consumed in the process.
I haven't logged in yet to look, so I apologize in advance if this has already been done, but has increasing the drop quantities of the cube mats been considered for the PTR? Just looking at it on paper, it might be tough to test because people won't be able to continually make new games due to the queues.
Any chance you guys will increase the server capacity? There's hour long queues every time PTR with community buff comes up. Can't really enjoy PTR if we can't make games to start with.
Also there's absolutely no way to test new bounties crafting mats right now since you have to remake the game to get new bounties.
As I mentioned in regards to international hosting, we have limited resources available for the PTR compared to live servers. We've dedicated everything we can to them, but that does result in there being less capacity available. Combine that with every region trying to get access and the result is the queues you're experiencing.
I know it can be frustrating or disappointing to not be able to hop on, but full queues means we're getting exactly what we're looking for internally: lots of people testing and lots of data.
We'll be activating and deactivating the Legendary buff throughout the course of PTR, so check back in from time to time. Queues will vary based on time of day and buff availability.
Damage inflicted by the Reflects Damage affix has been increased
Typo?
edit:
Only one monster in a pack can be reflecting damage at a time
maybe not
Nope, not a typo. :) The increased damage is intended to balance out the one-at-a-time change and make interacting with Reflects Damage a less spiky experience.
Reforge a Legendary Item: Completely re-rolls a Legendary item as though it had dropped for the first time. This includes any powers that may have been previously enchanted on the item. Note that reforged items may re-roll as either Ancient or non-Ancient, so reforge at your own discretion!
this part:
items may re-roll as either Ancient or non-Ancient
can i make a non ancient an ancient? please!
edit: cleaned up due to over excitement.
Yes you can! However, be aware that you can also risk an Ancient item becoming non-Ancient if you reforge. Choose wisely, my friend.

That's great feedback. I'm happy to pass it on.

We read r/Diablo pretty much every day. :) We just don't always have the time to post.

NEVER!

Yes it is. We have limited resources to dedicate to the PTR (in comparison to live servers) and as a result only have US hosted servers for testing.

Sets can also be reforged. Converting Set items works similarly, though; you are not guaranteed to get an Ancient Set piece if you convert one.
Nevalistis
The enchant system is totally separate; you can enchant after an item has been reforged.

Phew. I feel like I just finished running a marathon. Now to finish those Focused Feedback threads. :)
Enjoy the PTR, folks!
