    Story time!

Heroes of the Storm 2.0 was the first release we started doing champagne glasses for as a celebration. Reaper of Souls was actually one of the last we did the original way: by soaking the development and supporting release teams in champagne. The new way is admittedly much less wasteful and very cool in that we get a cool momento to keep.

Here's a few pictures from the event itself. I also threw in a picture unabashedly stolen from one of our producers, Tiffany Wat, of the badass goblets we got in celebration of the Rise of the Necromancer launch.

    ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ PLZ GIB BADASS GOBLET

Sorry! These were created exclusively for the development teams. Happy to pass on the desire for more Diablo-ish glassware to our licensing team, though, if that's desired.

isn't that Dustin Browder in the middle holding a champagne bottle ?

Nope! Though Matt Panepinto does kind of look a bit like him if you squint and turn your head sideways. They're quite different if you put them side by side. :)

I can imagine you maliciously sipping from that with an evil grin after a day of hard work.

This may be one of the best response chains I've ever seen from a community manager for a game.

That was a great bit of trivia; thank you for doing what you do!

Thanks for the kind words! Know that we all do what we do out of love for the game. :)
