'Leaderboards are currently locked for maintenance' - will clears made in this time appear on the LB when maintenance is over?

Just beat my 101 solo clear with a 103. Haven't played much over the last few years and started playing again a few months ago, so wasn't around when the previous season ended to know if the same thing happened then.

    So Era’s affect non-season too? Does that mean NS leaderboards will be locked until the season starts? That seems odd.

    Eras effectively ARE the non-Season - they do not line up with the same time frame as Seasons generally.

    With the massive changes happening to balancing in Patch 2.6.1, we wanted the current Era to have the same opportunity to start and end on a fresh foot as Seasons are going to get. There's more information on why we're doing this in this thread.

    It's good you finally realized what a terrible idea it is to have eras span over balance patches, thank you for that.

    What I don't get is why you can't start the new era now? Why do you have to keep the leaderboards disabled for over 2 weeks when the patch already is out? The time between seasons is the only time a lot of people play nonseason and you severely limit the enjoyment of that now with having the leaderboards disabled for no good reason.

    I don't know the exact specifics, but I do know it's a technical limitation. Eras don't "pause" like Seasons do; they immediately end and roll over. So this is a sort of workaround that allows us to have a "break" in between.

    Basically, Seasons have an on/off state. Eras do not; they simply "reset" from time to time.
