PSA: The Darkening Portal doesn't open until January 4th

For everyone hoping to do the Darkening dungeon today, sadly it won't open until Thursday. Buried in the 2.4.3 patch notes is this line:

Please note that future anniversary events will feature a pre-cursor event available from January 1-3

Saw the confusion pop up and wanted to hop in to reaffirm this! Apologies for not reiterating this information in the blog; we'll get that updated as soon as the rest of us are back in office.

Again, just to be clear: only the pre-cursor event (roaming cultists in Adventure Mode) is currently available. The portal to Old Tristram will open on January 4th.

The event on consoles too or pc exclusive?

PC and Console (PS4/Xbox One).

Do you know if this part of the event stretches into Jan 4 - Jan 30 or do we have to collect all the pages before the main event starts?

Just to confirm - the cultist event continues throughout the rest of the Darkening of Tristram event.

Season only or no?

Adventure Mode is required, but it can be done in both Seasonal and Non-Seasonal play.
