Anybody else have something called the bag of fortune with is literally spend 200 bloodshards get nothing?
This bag only works for classes that have new or changed items for the patch. So Demon Hunters and Monks will receive empty bags.
We're hoping to make changes for every class in the future, but the main focus of this patch was first and foremost quality of life, followed by the handful of item changes we could squeeze in.
I did a bit of season journey on the PTR and apparently the portrait frames you get during season 17 are exactly the same ones you got during season 5.
So if you've completed all season journey achievments (up to gurdian) starting at season 4 (when season journey was introduced) up until the latest season 16, you probably won't get any new portrait frames in the future anymore. That's really sad as that basically was one of the very few reasons I still played this game during the last year(s). I completed the gurdian achievment for every season so honestly there's really nothing left for me apart from the 1 new cosmetic (wings in season 17) you get by completing season journey chapter 4.
We have about twelve seasons worth of Seasonal rewards. Many of these items have never been seen by some players, and for Switch players, literally could never be acquired.
We do want people to have something to chase if they've done every Season though. Take a look at the final tier of the Season Journey. You might find something... (dons sunglasses) out of this world.
So can we get a new seasonal armor set transmog then... ? It kinda gets awfully boring after 16 sesons :(
New armor models are actually a huge, huge, huge amount of time and effort to implement. "Just one set" becomes, in actuality, 14 sets - as they have to be modeled, tested, and implemented for all 7 classes and 2 genders. In addition, they then have to be QA'd for every single animation across every single class (and gender).
We know this is a common ask - but it's an unlikely one for us to fulfill. It's a matter of making the best use of our time and resources, and there's a lot more we could do with the same amount of ask. For example, it's more likely that if we were to put in a new armor visual, it would be for something higher impact like a new class set rather than a Seasonal cosmetic. (NOTE: This is just an example. No promises, but hey, the you never know what we'll cook up next!)
Would really love to see some buffs to the strafe BOWS for DH.. if we could squeak that in perhaps DH could have a LON season too.
Not sure we'll be able to make a new change in for 2.6.5, but I'll pass it on that Strafe is something you'd like to see have some love in the future. :)
