Is diablo 3 worth it in 2019

is the game still alive ? does it have player base and healthy system or what just bough a new laptop nothing special intel hd 4000 i5 soo i was thinking of saving money to buy diablo 3 what are your thoughs ..., and does any one play on intel hd 4000 ... thanks .

    Hello /u/Nevalistis any chance the digital goodies for Diablo 3 Classic be available in store someday?

    No plans to bring those old cosmetics back; they were pre-order or Collector's Edition exclusives, and that's part of what makes them special.

    $40 for the bundle is fantastic value, that works out at about 1c per hour of playtime :D

    Off-topic, but it seems that the Asia Challenge Rift for this week is a LoN build which requires the S17 buff in order to work. In its current state it's basically impossible to do any damage. This would really mess up our season start, not sure if you can have a word in the appropriate person's ear and maybe get it fixed/changed somehow?

    It's pretty freaking awesome you took this much time out of your day to answer his question. Big props for being a great community manager! Also D3 rocks and is absolutely worth it. Can't wait for next season to start on switch.

    Caveat of "Hey, I work on this thing, so I'm sure you'll call me out on being biased," but I'll do my best to remain objective and give you the facts I can. :)

    Diablo 3 gives you a lot of bang for your buck. It's an older game, so we have sales a lot and it's no longer "full-price." The Eternal Collection is $40 and includes the original game, Reaper of Souls expansion, and the Rise of the Necromancer character pack. Out of any game I've ever worked on, it's the one I see people come back to for a tens (if not hundreds in some cases) of hours each Season. Seasons happen roughly every three months (with our next one starting this Friday!), and the beginning of the Season is the best time to play with the most people. If you're looking for a game to binge on, break for a bit, and come back to from time to time, it's a great fit.

    We've recently commented on our plans for ongoing support in this blog, which outlines new class sets, items, and themed Seasons for the foreseeable future. The community seems pretty excited about it (and we are too).

    I can't comment on your specific hardware, but as I mentioned, since D3's an older game, anything newer is probably going to run it pretty well. I've played on my Surface (which is absolutely NOT something I'd recommend, especially for Hardcore lol), and it's still pretty passable. If you have concerns, D3 is available on all three major current consoles and makes for a pretty fun couch co-op experience.
