Why did Blizzard bring back Dragonmaw Poacher?

Very surprised to see Dragonmaw Poacher returning to the draft pool with today's patch update. Didn't see this mentioned in the patch notes, and thought there was widespread agreement it was removed from arena with good reason. Is this Blizzard's way of soft-nerfing Twin Tyrant rather than addressing that elephant in the room directly?

I truly hope - and want to believe - this wasn't caused by sheer negligence on Blizzard's part. If so it might be the straw that finally breaks the camel's back in terms of quitting Hearthstone. Why play a game made by a company possessing enormous resources and monetization aims (nothing wrong with that on its own) but zero respect for its own player base?

Is this some kind of joke? Today is 16th of January and this bug still exists. "It shouldn't be too long", but feels like morning never came.

This is part of the risk of commenting on anything. The fix was actually pretty easy, deploying it took longer than I thought it might. We would obviously rather ship fixes instantly, but it’s not always how it ends up working out. iPad crashes have been another big issue lately we have a fix for but have to wait to deploy until 16.2 because the fixes required a client patch. The next time you hear about poacher will be to hear that its removed from drafts.

It's a bug introduced with the new patch. I think Keaton may have already fixed it internally but we have to coordinate with the team to deploy the fix to you all. It's a server side change so it shouldn't be too long, will check in the morning.
