Problems with Legend Matchmaking and how to maximize your chances for a top 100 finish
Hey, I am Dethelor pro player, strategy writer and streamer for team Fade2Karma. I have several top 100 finishes under my belt but that was not the case for me in the May season.
The current ladder system is far from ideal and has several problems which mostly affect the competitive/pro players. However there are multiple things we can do to maximize our chances securing a top 100/high finish.
Based on experience the best tip I can give you is to find a strong deck for the meta you feel comfortable playing with and stick with it for the last day(s) of the season. Constantly changing decks between games is usually one of the most common ways to drop ranks.

Open to feedback on this for sure. I think the complication is that there really aren't huge rating swings from game to game. Players are just SO close together late in the season (mostly because they stop playing games at >rank100 and clump up) that any wins or losses net you a ton of ranks. I would rather motivate people to keep playing within top 100 than decrease the MMR gain or loss. Thinking of solutions in that context is the most helpful.
