Blizzard, you can use quests to promote more deck diversity.

So I was thinking about Hearthstone last night (I know it hasn't been easy but I still love you baby) and I got this idea for different types of quests. I'm not sure if it's popped up before around here, but I felt I should make this post so that the idea can be seen.

We have quests like "Beat down", "Only the Mighty," "The Meek Shall Inheret," etc. These all do promote specific types of decks (face, control, and zoo/aggro respectively), but I really think Blizzard can do more with this. So, I've schemed up the following daily quests, some of which are less viable than others, but all, I find, could be done without too much difficulty, and would help learn about different deck archetypes.

Chaaaaaarge!: summon 40 "charge" minions. Reward: 50 gold

Death is no escape.: summon 40 "deathrattle" minions. Reward: 50 gold

Light, protect us.: summon 40 "divine shield" minions. Reward: 50 gold

Hurricane Hearthstone: summon 40 "windfury: minions. Reward: 50 gold

I can't heeeear youuu: summon 40 "battlecry" minions. Reward: 50 gold

They smell like Leper Gnomes!: summon 40 "taunt" minions. Reward: 50 gold

MORE POWER!: summon 40 "spell damage" minions. Reward: 50 gold

You won't like us when we're angry.: summon 40 "enrage" minions. Reward: 50 gold

Sneaky sneaky...: summon 40 "stealth" minions. Reward: 50 gold

For glory, to victory!: summon 40 "inspire" minions. Reward: 50 gold

Unleash the beasts.: Summon 40 beasts. Reward: 40 gold

Demonic Invasion.: Summon 40 demons. Reward: 40 gold

Machine Age.: Summon 40 mechs. Reward: 40 gold

MRGHGHLGHLGHLGLH!: Summon 40 murlocs. Reward: 40 gold

Avast, ye scurvy dogs!: Summon 40 pirates. Reward: 40 gold

Terror from above.: Summon 40 dragons. Reward: 40 gold

Totemic Legacy.: Summon 40 totems. Reward: 40 gold

I considered "play x many y class cards" as well, but I figured you might as well just have the class wins instead. Just for fun I also thought of a unique shaman quest and a unique rogue quest, neither of which should be too hard, so long as you get the right cards.

System Overload: Overload at least 10 mana crystals in one turn. Reward: 200 gold.

C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER: Activate three "combo" effects in one turn. Reward: 100 gold.

Blizzard, consider these kinds of quests! Stirring the pot that is the meta keeps the game interesting and less like the static meta we had for two months before WotoG. Who knows, bolster warrior may become the new meta, if it can keep up with charge warrior.

I think the core idea of inspiring deck diversity through quests is a cool idea. We talk a lot about how we can use quests as a tool to promote more fun games. Quests are really important, they appear every day and highly influence a non-small amount of people's daily Hearthstone experience. Thanks for the feedback!

people should be able to play whatever deck they like, quests shouldnt force them to play something they don't enjoy playing

I agree with this. The opportunity with quests I think is the situation where you only feel comfortable playing X thing, but you see you get rewarded for playing Y thing and it makes you feel good about making a decision to try something you are less informed about. You might end up liking that new thing even more but would have never gave it a chance! When I say deck diversity I mean less about decks on the ladder, but giving you a chance to check out a more diversified lineup of strategies and feel punished for doing so.
