Imagine wild mode 2 years from now. 6 years from now. I'm going to love playing standard mode, but I am beyond excited for the insanity of wild mode.

With each new expansion and adventure it's just going to get better.

I'm not sure about that. There was a lot of power creep in Naxx and GVG, but Blizzard has really scaled it back, and now that we have standard, they'll never feel like they'll need to introduce a 4 drop to replace shredder, or a 7 drop to replace boom. The end result is that a lot of the most powerful cards in play today may not be usurped for a very long time. In 6 years, I wouldn't be at all surprised if wild was still full of shredders, booms, and secret paladins.

When I think about what the best decks in Hearthstone would look like while having access to 10-15-20 sets, I think it's all going to be about synergy. That's part of the reason to me making changes to Shredder, Boom, Belcher and standalone value cards isn't really necessary for Wild. When all of your 30 cards are dialed in on one specific strategy there isn't a lot of room for cards that are just great cards on their own. Decks like Freeze Mage are a good example where every card in the deck is pointing to one strong strategy and there isn't really any room for cards people perceive as the best cards in the current format.
