Since you're answering questions - can you comment on the availability on Amazon tablets (Kindle Fire HD, HDX, etc)? These still use android but I've found the separate app store to be lacking in many regards compared to Google.

Unfortunately not at this time - we haven't announced which specific Android devices we're planning on developing for. I'm sure we'll have more information available at a later time.

Tried it out on my ipad 3d generation and it seems to work alright. There are definitely some bugs and issues with lag in both menus and in game, but overall its seems to read all my inputs fine and its playable.

I sat down on my couch and played a few games and realized that there is something about the atmosphere of hearthstone that makes it a very cozy experience that im sure I will repeat for many nights to come.

Overall if blizzard addresses these lag issues (I hope im not the only one having them) this will be the near perfect ipad (and hopefully iphone) game to play on long trips or late nights.

If you're getting bugs on the mobile version, help us fix it faster by posting your bugs on the Mobile Bug Report Forums please!

Why did you give the ipad version priority, doesn't android cover a bigger player base?

Edit: Nobody get their panties in a bunch, i'm asking the question without malice.

Valid question, ArchangelPT. iPad is a good start for us to break into gaming on mobile devices - the iPad 2 or higher gives Hearthstone the processing power it needs to run smoothly without having to do a massive overhaul of the game's UI elements to fit a smaller screen. That's something we have to keep in mind when bringing Hearthstone to things like the iPhone or Android phones - if you're straining to read the cards or making misplays because the UI isn't optimized, that's no fun for anyone. It also takes more development time.

There are many kinds of Android devices out there as well, and that's something I mentioned in this thread too. The more we have to tinker and reiterate and optimize for each device, the longer it takes to release the game on that platform. It's not as simple as drag, drop and autoplay - even for iPad, there's lots of stuff we did to make everything feel smooth and as true to the PC version as you can get. The overall Hearthstone experience is really important to us, and we don't want things to feel clunky or awkward when going from iPad to PC or vice versa.

What about WP? Pretty please with flowers on top :P

We haven't made any announcements about Windows Phone support. The things in the pipeline currently are iPhone, Android devices, and Windows 8 Touch.

Thanks for the reply Zeriyah. Do you think the Nexus 7 or 10 be able to run the app smoothly without lag?

I'm not sure honestly - we haven't announced which specific Android devices will be supported, but we do want to make sure that the ones we will support will provide an optimal Hearthstone experience.

Can't be that much further away, right?... right?

Android will be down the line, it's still in development.
