Co-Op Revitalized the Game for Me

It had been two months since I had quit hearthstone when I saw the notice about a Co-Op tavern brawl being released. I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try.

Now don't get me wrong I don't think the actual rules of this brawl itself were the best, but wow did playing WITH another human make it so much fun for me. Being able to complete daily quests in a truly casual, laid back and cooperative way is something that could get me coming back to this game.

Spamming emotes with gratitude while trying to coordinate strategies with mouse wiggling was very amusing. I think I've played at least 10 times so far.

I think adding a real Coop mode with more "bosses" like this to pick from and with the ability to pick a class and design decks could be amazing. It'd be fun and social and take the stress and grind away from trying to do dailies in ranked mode.

Here's to hoping for the success of this brawl to bring about a true Co-Op mode! The new Starcraft 2 Xpac has a new Co-Op "single player type" mission mode because those devs saw how many people enjoy Co-Op multiplayer experiences. I can only hope hearthstone devs see the same.

remember that Realz guy? He used to be a Hearthstone streamer, and supposedly Blizzard hired him to do HS stuff.

We'll never know what he was hired for. But the weird thing is - you would think that Realz, being a pro, would have had at least some input towards the most controversial things which have happened to the game.

    What's going on, Realz?

Hey, it isn't a secret what Realz does! Realz is a game designer here at Blizzard. He designs cards and helps ensure the cards are fun and clear and balanced. He also contributes to other aspects of design, as we all work together on pretty much everything.
