This week's Tavern Brawl is... "Ahune's Superior Brawl" (July 19th, 2017)

Desc: ENJOY FROST FESTIVAL GAMES, FOOL! DESTROY RAGNAROS DUMMIES FASTER THAN YOUR OPPONENT. HEROES CANNOT BE HEALED OR KEEP ARMOR.

Brawl Notes:

  • The Brawl has you play with pre-constructed Mage and Paladin decks, both with each player Immune and unable to heal or gain armor.

  • The only way to kill your Opponent in this brawl is through attacking the Ragnaros Dummies on board, which deal 4 damage to the opposing hero on death. Ragnaros Dummies are 1/4 Minions that have 'Can't attack' and 'Deathrattle: Whoever kills this deals 4 damage to their opponent'. They are resummoned upon leaving the board.

  • A glitch with [[Ice Block]] causes players to become Invulnerable for the rest of the game once it's played. [[Eye For An Eye]] will not trigger to counter this.

Frost Festival Notes:

  • Logging in during the Frost Festival, (commencing at the start of this brawl), will award you with a free arena ticket, as well as a Quest by Ahune to 'Play 3 Games of Arena', with the reward being a Frozen Throne Pack. Your run starts with 1 free win.

    There is a bug where if Mage plays ice block they cannot be killed. I literally just lost but I brought the Mage down below 0 health about 4 times

    Hey all! Late to this thread but the team is aware of this issue and they're working on a fix now. It should be arriving soon, though I don't have a specific time. As an aside, Eye for an Eye not functioning isn't a bug in this case. It's not damage originating from a Ragnaros dummy, so it shouldn't penetrate the immunity anyway.
