This week's Tavern Brawl is "Yellow-Brick Brawl"

Each player is given Dorothee, which grants Charge to minions on one side and Taunt to the other. Build a 10 card STANDARD deck and we'll give you three copies of each!

The reward for this brawl is a Classic pack. This is a Create Deck brawl.

We previously saw this brawl one year ago in November 2016. Reddit discussed it here.

Chalk board

  • Warrior tip: you start this brawl with 10 armor, so you can test out all of the "if you have armor" cards tomorrow such as Gemstudded Golem or Reckless Flurry. Thanks, /u/AintEverLucky!

"Most of Hearthstone isn't changing," Brode said. "You can still play Tavern Brawls with all your cards and solo adventures and challenge your friends and play in wild mode. We're basically just adding a new way to play"

Brawls are different each week. Sometimes you can only play common cards, sometimes only standard. Sometimes only 2 cards total.

The brawls are pretty different when wild or standard, I think it's fun to have both!

We will still offer Wild Brawls, but obviously certain Brawls are more fun in different formats, and we're not going to avoid doing fun things just to make sure each brawl is a Wild Format Deckbuilding Brawl.

I know there is still a lot of concern over the future of Wild, and how it should be supported - This doesn't mean we don't want to continue supporting Wild and making it more fun. We recently did our first Wild-only nerf (Dreadsteed), starting selling Wild packs again in our online store, and we have some really cool Wild content coming early next year.
