How lore friendly is the upcoming expansion?
Never played WoW, so I don’t know too much about the universe and lore surrounding it, but I’m guessing this is another original Hearthstone set like MSoG, having nothing really to do with Warcraft besides the creatures and terminologies introduced?

Kobolds are a pretty classic monster from World of Warcraft. In the early days you mostly found them near the surface in caves or mines. They wear candles on their heads as mining lights, which gave them their catch-phrase, “You no take candle!” (Hollered at adventurers when the kobolds aggroed on them.) In later Warcraft expansions you met some variants, like the Snobolds of Northrend, who lived in the caves of huge giant creatures called Magnataurs and worshipped them.
For Hearthstone we were able to explore their world a little more, and we get to meet “King Togwaggle,” who’s crowned himself the leader of this bunch and who plays a big role in the new single player Dungeon Run. The Hearthstone team had a lot of fun visualizing what a whole realm of kobolds would be like...
