As an Australian, according to the rules I'm supposed to play in Asia but I don't have any cards on that server.

Blizzard recommends Australian players play on Na. I'm sure this came up in prior tournaments, should I just register for NA?

EDIT: Tournament Rules were changed, thanks to the admins! https://twitter.com/HSesports/status/963952578366136320

Yes, we've updated to allow players from the ANZ and SEA regions to compete in either the Asia or Americas qualifiers.

As a total noob, if I enter this and make 3 decks, what happens next? I have to physically travel somewhere to get my ass beat or I can do so from the comfort of my home?

The qualifiers are online-only, so you’ll be able to compete from the comfort of your home!

How old do you need to be to enter this tournament?

You can participate if you’re of the age of majority in your country of residence. If you’re under the legal age of majority but over the age of 13 as of the tournament start date, you need to get a parent or legal guardian to approve your participation. You can find more info in our Player Handbook.

We have to compete in the region we live in? I live in Japan but play on the NA server, does that mean I can't compete?

Tournament eligibility is determined by your Battle.net account's country of residence. Asia is the recommended server for Japan, so Japanese players must compete in the Asia qualifier.
