Yeah, this is a change to make the glows easier for colorblind people to distinguish.
It isn’t a toggleable option (sorry to those of you who were commenting here hoping it was :(), but I’m hoping it still manages to toe between “relatively tasteful” and “visible to everyone.”
I’m happy to get feedback on it, especially as it goes live and people start playing with it, and hoping that I’ll be able to continue fine-tuning it if needed.:)
Is the glow identical or does it differ between combo cards and cards like Reno?
The glow animations/ripples are identical between the two, the only difference between them right now is still in color.
Is being able to make that Combo vs. PoweredUp distinction helpful? I hadn't focused on it this iteration because I'd figured the important gameplay information was just "This is gonna do its thing now!", but if I'm wrong there, or it's just a nice thing feel-wise, this is exactly the sort of feedback that I'm hoping for.:)
