Not to sound like a smart ass, but which is the intended behaviour? I personally hope that Stand Against Darkness is the intended behaviour for the edge case of being able to trigger a counter spell and then play a buff like kings or level up for lethal.
The intended behavior is that Stand Against Darkness is not playable when the board is full. Apologies for getting back to you late!
