So, just to clarify, Potion of Madness is a temporary enchantment that is only active/present on the turn it is played.?. So if IP dies with PoM under your control (i.e., you cast PoM on your opponent's IP), it will go into your deck and PoM is gone after then turn ends.
If an Immortal Prelate dies while under control of Potion of Madness it will be shuffled back into your deck with the Potion of Madness enchantment still on it. That enchantment triggers at the end of turn and returns the attached minion back to its original controller if that minion is still in play. The enchantment then deletes itself. So, if you steal an Immortal Prelate, trade it in, and then pass turn, the enchantment will delete itself and Immortal Prelate will remain in your deck. However, if you redraw and play that Immortal Prelate the same turn it died it will return to its original owner at the end of turn.
The same behavior applies for similar cards like Shadow Madness and Corruption.
Fun fact, while developing Immortal Prelate these enchantments originally didn't have the restriction that the attached minion had to still be in play. If you stole Immortal Prelate with Potion of Madness and then traded it in, the Immortal Prelate would move from your deck back to your opponent's deck at the end of turn. While hilarious it was also pretty janky, so we added the extra restriction.
What if I play my Potion of Madness on my opponent's Immortal Prelate. Then in that same turn I Psychic Scream, have my opponent draw cards (say through Coldlight) and then slam down a Dirty Rat and it pulls my opponent's Immortal Prelate out of his hand. Will it come back to my side when it pops out or will it stay on his?
This is silly. Part of me wants to not tell you to see someone actually manage to do this. :D
It does not switch sides. Immortal Prelate only keeps enchantments as part of the Deathrattle. If it gets Sapped or Psychic Scream, it does not trigger the Deathrattle and does not keep enchantments. It is dissimilar to Kingsbane in that way.
So if you were wondering if PoM->Psychic Scream->Death Grip will cause Immortal Prelate to swap sides, it does not.
If you 'potion of madness' an enemy 'Immortal Prelate', and it dies before the end of your turn, what happens when you replay it and end your turn? and is it different if you end your turn before replaying it later?
edit: also, when you replay it, does it keep the pseudo-charge that potion gives it?
This is kind of fun.
You steal you opponent's Immortal Prelate using Potion of Madness and it dies, it gets shuffled into your deck.
IF you happen to draw and play it in the SAME turn that the potion was used, it will swap back.
However, if a turn passes and the card is in your deck or hand, it does not switch sides, since it isn't in play.

That is correct!

Sylvanas Windrunner hasn't been changed.

It does not.

/u/jdurica answers this below in more detail. But it does not die every time, however hilarious that would be.
