RumbleRun Complete 27/27 Shrines in under 900 Runs | Some Thoughts
It took me a little while but it is finally completed and now I can rest easy knowing that my OCD has been satisfied. While I am unable to provide a specific strategy guide for each individual shrine, I do have some notes that may be able to help players complete the challenge with a tad more ease.
- Always build your deck geared towards beating the final boss. Considering the artificial difficulty boost of the final boss that starts off with additional mana, you always want to make sure you can deal with their shrine early or at the very least include comeback mechanics.
- Seriously consider 'cheese strategies'. A prime example would be that of the shaman shrine Krag'wa's Grace that reduces the cost of spells in your hand. The way that I personally achieved victory is by loading up on Unstable Evolutions and spells that summoned tokens, it wouldn't be unrealistic to end up on turn 2 with 4 or more 10 drops.
- Don't focus too much on what your shrine has to offer. Taking the treasures/cards that feed directly into your shrine's power will not always result in the best possible build. Key is versatility.
In addition to these few minor tips, I also want to provide feedback to the developers.
- Overall, I enjoyed the RumbleRun experience. While it is no secret that it started off in a horrendous fashion, the fixes implemented did indeed make it an enjoyable experience so you should genuinely be commended.
- Given the substantial differences between each shrine, the whole pve process does indeed promote creative deckbuilding and does indeed force you to think about what cards would be most useful in the long run. So it is in fact a good learning tool.
- Sadly, I am of the opinion that the game mode has limited replayability. The only thing that really kept me coming back to the game mode is my OCD for completion.
- Furthermore, the fact that I had to manually keep track of my completion just takes away from the enjoyment. I don't think it would be unrealistic to add some golden crowns (like other pve game modes) on top of each shrine so you know which ones you have already completed.
tl;dr Overall the updated RumbleRun experience was enjoyable and very welcome especially as free content. But it is somewhat lacking compared to previous pve experiences. Anyway, thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

Congrats on the 27 wins... and thanks for the great feedback!
We knew that focusing on just the nine champions would potentially limit replayability but loved the theme - it was definitely a tradeoff.
Feedback has been pretty consistent that people wanted win tracking, whether or not they intended to complete all 27 shrines. It's something we took to heart for upcoming content - you can see it's a bulletpoint on our Year of the Dragon writeup. Can't wait to reveal more about the upcoming missions, so stick around.
Thanks for posting this!
