One of the devs, u/jdurica, gave that example on the last set of patch notes after the change was accidentally listed there. Wish that guy posted more often; his comment history is a goldmine of Hearthstone mechanic information.
I try to post when I see rules/interactions questions, but it's difficult to balance timely answers with my other day to day work. Tagging me directly in the post like you just did helps because I receive a notification!
Hey man just want to say thanks for all you do for this game. As a software engineer, I'm my happiest when things are neat, organized, and well documented. Looks like you are doing your part in keeping things detailed!
I have more rule and interaction questions than I can keep track of, but most of them could be tested with enough time and patience. One thing that does come to mind though: is there any info or documentation you could disclose regarding the guidelines for enchantment/aura priorities, and how they're updated?
The unofficial advanced rulebook had a bunch of info on the subject, but it's fallen out of date and it's a lot of subtle things to keep up with - Attack/health auras come last while cost ones get interwoven with enchantments, Summoning Portal gets an early priority, Tar minions get a late one, Enrage effects use the time the minion was enraged, Crystal Core is a card that exists...
I know special cases will always exist, but is there any chance you or someone else could do a post about the general guidelines for how they're ordered?
In any case, I'm happy you replied, and for the work you do on the game.
This is something we're actually looking to do a pass on. Our goal is to clarify and simplify those rules and remove as many inconsistencies as possible. Unfortunately this is slow going because it essentially requires us to do a pass on every single card in the game, and tweak some of our core gameplay code. We want to make sure we get it right and future proof it as much as possible because the implementation cost is so high. We'll provide a full explanation of those rules when we do roll them out.
Witchwood, Boomsday and Rastakhan are technically part of the Year of the Dragon, so I assume those.
Edit: Look, I can tell that you really want expansion packs from expansions that have not yet been released, but that's clearly not going to happen.
The "author" of this update is likely referring to those cards that would be eligible during the upcoming "Standard" format that is the Year of the Dragon. Cards that are eligible, and a part of this new Standard Format--And the Year of the Dragon--are Witchwood, Boomsday, and Rastakhan.
This is correct. Apologies for the confusing wording!

We've trained those tricky treants to freeze in their frames, so they should be much less mobile when playing on mobile devices.
In other words: This should be fixed with today's update but unfortunately didn't make it into the patch notes.
