Genuine Thank You for the Dalaran Heist
Look, I get it. There's a lot to complain about when it comes to Blizzard in 2019, but I wanted to say thank you to the devs for their work on last expansion's solo adventure. The Dalaran Heist was a massive inclusion for a player like me, who loves setting up the most ludicrous combos with the most ludicrous decks.
I don't have a great interest in competitive play, and in my limited time, I only just finished beating each stage, with each hero. Mostly because I wanted to keep going back and trying new ways to win with new hero powers, new decks, etc. This expansion has so much replay-ability and I know I'm STILL not going to be done with it yet.
Multiple hero powers, multiple deck options, random decks, anomaly modes, and of course random treasures means a different game every time and I love it. Filling Khadgar's deck with 80+ bombs, fully healing him with Nozari, then letting his draws ruin him in one turn? I live for that stuff, and this expansion lets me do that plus a million other ridiculous things.
There's a lot to work on when it comes to packs, gameplay, etc. But the solo adventures? Blizzard you rocked it.
Making it free, or at least earnable? Thank you.
The incredible voice acting and writing, with the interactions of characters? Thank you.
The creation of new ridiculous treasures? Thank you.
Bringing our boy BOB into our lives? Thank you.
I just wanted to throw you some love and let you know that this is one effort that soared above expectations in my book. Single player events in videogames need some love these days, and I hope you know I loved this with all my heart.
