This week's Tavern Brawl is "Three Wishes" (September 11, 2019)

Description: Zephrys has blessed you with a random deck and 3 Wishes! And no wishing for more wishes!

  • This is a randomised deck brawl, just pick a class.

  • Rewards a Classic pack.

  • Also rewards 2 Saviours of Uldum packs if you win the brawl to complete a Legendary Quest.

  • Part of a two-week Onwards to Uldum event, leading up to the launch of Tombs of Terror on 17 September.

  • This is a Wild brawl.

  • This is the 1st time we’ve seen this brawl.

  • Players start with a 0-Cost "First Wish" card, which (presumably) shuffles Second and subsequently, Third wishes into your deck after you use it. As far as I’ve seen, it behaves like a 0-Cost Zephrys.

    It feels like they're using some version of the deck builder Ai for the randomized decks. They're pretty cohesive and feel reasonably powerful

    It's a great change from who gets the least millhouses and argent watchers brawls we've had in the past

    So they're actually built using similar tech to The Burndown. It pulls from buckets of similar cards so that you get some natural synergies.

    You could still get a "merc 280"-style deck but since you don't keep it you can't rely on that.

    But yeah, glad to hear you're digging it!

    Hello again. Not sure if/when you’ll read this, but I’ve enjoyed this tavern brawl so much that it’s the only way I’ve played this week. Ive completely skipped arena and ranked because I’m having too much fun and I think the new randomizer you’re using is a huge part of that.

    Great to hear you're enjoying it! Can't promise I'll always use that but it's another tool in my kit.
