G2 RDU talks about casting and casters in HearthStone

I've casted dozens of HS tournaments and feel like I've worked with almost every organizer. Not one has ever given this instruction to me. Might be taken out of context.

Let me give full context then.

The play in question is in this VOD, the turn starts around 2:11:27. The player misses lethal and that single play turns the game from a narrow victory into an absolute stomp of a defeat. To me as a caster, what else is there to really even focus on? I feel TJ and I weren't very harsh at all on the player, and even dismissed it as an interaction that might be harder to spot, but when the game ends, this is certainly a focal point for analysis.

Here's an excerpt of the feedback I received from casting this event: http://i.imgur.com/YBJuaiv.png

I'm all for not focusing too much on "the right play", but the exception is definitely when that play straight up wins you an otherwise lost game. That is something to focus on.

Yes, it's going to look like the player "didn't know what he was doing" because, quite frankly, he didn't. I'm sure you could even ask him and he'd willingly admit he made a critical mistake in that game.

My casting wasn't perfect and a lot of the other feedback was much better and helped me improve, but this was quite honestly poor feedback from Blizzard. It's apparent to me watching HCT broadcasts this year that Blizzard is trying to focus more on game analysis, but that doesn't mean they've never given out this kind of feedback in the past (I can't speak about feedback from 2016, given I haven't casted for Blizzard this year).
