I'm sorry but gaining an advantage in battlegrounds for buying packs is not okay

Who thought it was a good idea to market battlegrounds as 'nearly a separate game' and at the same time give people who bought a bunch of packs from the new expansion for the main game the ability to choose out of 3 heroes instead of 2. Not only is it pay 2 have better rng oddsbut its also a cheap way of making sure people will still buy packs if they prefer the autochess mode. Imagine if in League's TFT you had the ability to choose out of 6 shop champions instead of 5 if you had more than say 90 skins in the main game. If you market them as separate things, they should stay separate.

Source? Because the latest expansion is still Saviors of Uldum, and it will be that way until December 9. So what that Descent of Dragons will get a pre-order? It's still a month until it launches.

I really tried to find a public source to link you that we've posted, the news post on the official site just says the latest xpac, since it's letting you know that going forward in xpacs that's how it'll work. Definitely could have been clearer there. You can see in the screenshots of the reward tiers that it says DoD packs on the rewards screen.

All last expansion packs count. So Saviors of Uldum since start.

The mode is launching in the same patch the Descent of Dragons pre purchase goes out, so that will be the latest expansion then. SoU packs won't count for the unlocks.
