4v1v1v1v1 Lobbies in BG's
Today i watched on twitch from multiple perspectives a BG lobby where 4 players were playing together and the other 4 were playing alone. I will admit that it was fun at first but at some point when i was watching one of the singles i actually started feeling the pressure of playing against 4 guys even if i wasn't playing at all. (the 4 players were doing pretty much all you can think of: leveling together reordering comps, sharing info on other players both from previous fights and from stream sniping etc.)
My biggest problem with this is that i see no way how this particular aspect would not at least be brought up for discussion in the dev team and the current implementation seems like it's totally ignoring it.
This together with the questionable decisions that we keep seeing (advertising a bunch of bundles as actual gameplay events, the controversial battle pass survey ) makes me think that not even the HS devs care about the health of the game anymore which makes me really sad as a long time HS player and follower.
In the end i want to ask you guys what do you think? Do you also feel like the direction of the game is starting to slip into something bad? Am i just overthinking stuff ? I would really like to see a civilized discussion on this topic.
