Question on new ranked system.
I could be wrong on some or most of this but hoping to get an answer to clarify my thinking.
Is it the case that we all get reset back to to the same level each season (regardless of rank) but with different bonuses to gain ranks?
So then say I hit legend early and then just meme it from there with an awful winrate.
When the new season starts isn't my MMR going to be absolutely awful but my bonus really high giving me a really big advantage on reaching legend again quickly (going back to a meta deck) vs those that were competitive and thus have competitive matches and a high MMR (I wont face them)?I read it as you have MMR matches until you hit your previous rank so this sounds like an easier way to hit legend again since you could be getting matched against far lower ranked players (or people doing the same thing I guess)?
I don't know much about these type of systems so just trying to get my head around it as the above sounds really beneficial for players like me who just like to hit their top end goals each month then just fuck around (with shit win rates).

If you hit Legend rank regardless how badly your win-rates are, you will get at least 10 bonus stars in the beginning of the next season. Also, your rating will not drop below certain threshold if you get Legend after the season roll (however, in the middle of the season the value can be as low as the player wants but there is no benefit by doing that). This prevents tanking ratings intentionally.
