Seen a lot of love for the new Tradeable keyword! The short description of it is: Drag this into your deck to spend (1) Mana and draw a new card. But for those who love thinking about the nitty gritty details…

      - Trading does not count as playing a card. - You draw the top card of your deck (counts as a draw, like normal.) - After drawing, the Tradeable card is shuffled into your deck (DOES keep enchantments, unlike normal.)

@Celestalon is it correct to assume that the deck is reordered after the shuffle per usual?

          @RidiculousHat Yes.

@Celestalon Could you elaborate on the last point? Is the tradeable card out of your hand before you draw the new card and *then* the deck is shuffled? Or do you draw a new card and then shuffle the tradeable card into your deck?

@SamuelMRhee Visually, they happen at the same time. Mechanically, they happen as I described above. Oh, I suppose one minor clarification: - You can Trade while at 10 cards in hand; it doesn't burn the drawn card. Also: - You can't Trade if your deck is empty.

@Celestalon can the cost of trading be reduced - for example with Generous Mummy?

@UltiKon_HS No; Trading always costs (1). The card's cost is irrelevant to the cost of Trading.

@Celestalon This is really cool. I love how dragging it to the deck is very much the physical motion you'd make, rather than playing it from hand. Can you share why the banner under the cost was used? Curious to know what went into that decision.

@RickMKick In playtesting, it felt like it need more of a visual indicator that you could swap it out for something else, at a glance. The banner under the mana cost is visible without hovering over the card.

@Celestalon What's the visual/history effect when your opponent trades a card? Do you get to know what it was?

@mrmikedrum - The Tradeable card is revealed to your opponent when you Trade it.

@Celestalon How will it work with polkelt, will i draw the highest cost when the trade happens and then the deck will shuffle or will it shuffle first, or exception and will not shuffle at all

@SanatMaheshwar5 It mechanically happens in the order I described.

@Celestalon how will this work on mobile? the deck is close to your hand due to smaller screen size, it seems like it’ll be really easy to accidentally ‘trade’ a card by mistake

@thilaerian It works, you can drag around it.

@Celestalon how does this work with an empty deck? does it draw on fatigue and put the card on the top card afterwards?

@Celestalon @RidiculousHat can tradeable cards be traded again after already using them once?
      • Chadd Nervigg

Posted 4 years, 7 months ago (Source)
@clypidd @RidiculousHat Sure, if you keep drawing it, you can keep Trading it over and over if you want.

@Celestalon So in a vacuum if there is a tradable tribal card like beast can you just buff it with Scagenger’s ingenuity and just trade it back and repeat? Can you also copy into multiple buffed cards like with dire frenzy? It’s insane.

@Alucard_bu Yes, this would work: Scavenger's Ingenuity into Rustrot Viper, buffing it. Trade Rustrot Viper. Scavenger's Ingenuity into that same Rustrot Viper, buffing it twice.
