      @Songbird_HS Smart dogs will do that. Once ours decided that she did not want to be a therapy dog, she decided to go for the food during her final exam. This was despite the four years of training where she mastered doing the exact opposite.

        @LordVerge_ Bea is a very smart dog with a very stubborn disposition. Hell of a combination.

      @Songbird_HS Corgis do be like dis sometimes - IMO you should find a trainer who utilizes both positive and negative reinforcements, or she will continue disrespecting these kinds of situations. The more she does this kind of thing, the more likely it escalates in future situations.

        @lidlRini She's been trained with exclusively positive reinforcement so far. I'm pretty sure her behavior at the vet is a fear response. She can be quite anxious at times and we're working on it. Not easy to fix though >_<
