@IntervalHS I plan to do 1 golden 20 regular in a pattern. Great golden What strategy did you use?

@mostlybummedout Granted I'm not positive it actually works that way, but I opened 20 regular packs since last legendary, then my golden packs.

@IntervalHS Since first lego is guaranteed in first ten is it best to just start golden?

@mostlybummedout I think they've stated that the timer is different for golden packs, but again i'm just not 100% sure how it works. I bet @RidiculousHat or @Celestalon would love to answer this question for us if possible

@IntervalHS @mostlybummedout @Celestalon golden packs have no timer and are each completely independent rolls

@RidiculousHat @mostlybummedout @Celestalon Well that's depressing. Thanks for the clarification.

@IntervalHS @RidiculousHat @mostlybummedout With regular packs, legendary chance (or any rarity/quality) effectively curves upward as you don't get one. That's great for smoothing out potential bad luck streaks, while still allowing good luck streaks.

@IntervalHS @RidiculousHat @mostlybummedout But that relies on opening enough packs for it to work. With Golden packs, most people only ever open a few of them, so instead we go with a simple constant chance. Averages out the same. So not really 'depressing', just different style to suit the behavior of the pack.
