Ok, time to bring up this Hearthstone idea again. Weigh the upsides and downsides for you personally and then decide if you think it’s worth trying in the comments. For one month, we try allowing you to ban a class of your choice. You can change the ban at any time. Thoughts?

Yes, we know decks with one bad matchup would get a lot more powerful. Weigh that into your decision if it matters to you. Yes, matchmaking would be harder for a popular class that is also the popular ban. Assume matchmaking times will be good and acceptable.

@IksarHS Guess this test isn't making it into the patch. Was looking forward to it.

@Nedmarc Still pretty far out if we even decide to do it. Part of the goal with getting feedback is to get it while there is still chance to pivot.

@IksarHS I'd approach the problem from a different angle. Instead of banning a popular class why not give players incentive (dust, gold, tavern passes, you name it) to play the less popular cards and classes? Say, if they include x or not include y they get a bonus.

@djokovic666 (I have a pitch for this, too, will probably post next week)

@IksarHS Dear Iksar. I've been playing Hearthstone since 2015, this being the game that has made me de-stress and have a good time with my friends. I don't want to have a class banned ladder, all I want is a balanced game with which one can play his favorite class against another of (1/2)

@IksarHS a similar level. If classes have to be re-evaluated, it would be better than putting a band-aid on the game and "see what happens." I hope the best of the game, for you and for us true lovers of HS. (2/2)

@Sebas_______ If we were to do a class ban, the reasons are unrelated to balance. Class ban existing or not has no impact on willingness or effort to do class balance. If all classes were 50% win rate, there are still potential upsides to not playing against the thing you don't like.
