      @hsdecktech Can you explain the golden/diamond frame & portraits to me a bit? Are the alternative portraits the “golden rarity” and then the preorder diamond is the default portrait with more animations & diamond frame? So we wouldn’t be able to do diamond Diablo with the alternate portraits

        @ggahSoO Usually when you get a new character, you'll get what we've marked as the "base" portrait for them. But sometimes--including for these special bundles--you'll get a cosmetic portrait, instead. Either way, it unlocks the character as playable with that portrait.

          @ggahSoO Other than that, the portraits and frames for them are all just cosmetic differences. Not sure if I understand the last question you put, though.

            @hsdecktech Basically a rundown of the portrait rarities: Default Golden default Golden alt 1 Golden alt 2 Diamond default I guess my question was that we can’t mix & match one of the alt arts with a diamond frame. Example would be a diamond frame with the below Diablo art https://t.co/7sZpRMMjY5

              @ggahSoO Oh, gotcha, you are correct that that art does not have a Diamond option. The portraits+frames are kind of like an alt copy of the card instead of like pieces you can mix and match.

      @hsdecktech Thanks for these info, the mode is looking better and better I just can't wait ! I just think that the boards look empty though, maybe because these are early game boards ?

        @drenhung I think part of it is that the first area is Barrens, part is that it’s intended to be a journey on a path, and part of it is that space is left open for effects that summon other characters. But you’re not the only one to have given this feedback. What would you want to see?

      @hsdecktech One more question: Where is this "we did a little event with a few content creators to give you a look at the mode." I would be glad to watch some real gameplay, unlike the livestream announcement. Thank you.

        @Christian_HS_ The creators posted it on their own channels. We took a hands-off approach because we wanted to let them play how they wanted and give the feedback they wanted. Check out @Slysssa, @TrumpSC, @Kripparrian, and @Tars_HS for their videos.

        @pderanian @Slysssa, @TrumpSC, @Kripparrian, and @TiagoTaparelli have put out content about it. The point of the event was to put it in the community’s hands and let them speak to it from their perspectives, so I’ll direct you to them. A few more were involved, so more might come.

If I play Mercs that have a lower win rate I can be paired with lower mmr players to compensate? Do these matchmaking shenanigans happen at all levels even as you approach the leaderboard? https://t.co/utGuNV0ccV

            @hs_Pasca @ben_heathstone There are reasons why we don't want to give like a complete exact formula of how matchmaking would work, right? That said, I generally think you'll find that the non-MMR factors get less and less important the more you play, as your team will naturally get closer to the cap.

              @hsdecktech @ben_heathstone If I play an overpowered Merc with level 1 equipment, the game can compensate by matching me against normal mercs with level 2 equipment. If I play a maxed out OP merc, the game: A: can't do anything about it? or B: compensates by matching me against players with better MMR?

                @hsdecktech @ben_heathstone If you can't answer I understand, I'm just stating questions that emerge from the idea of no balance changes and matchmaking compensating for it. I'm very confident that the solution the engineers found will work flawlessly.

                  @hs_Pasca @ben_heathstone Yeah, I'm sure that one or more of the many knobs they have will make for a good matchup in most all situations. And even if you find some weird edge case that somehow breaks the system, they can still just update the system to account for it (or make one of those rare nerfs).
