      Features means things like the achievement system, BG boards, or custom emotes. It doesn’t mean content for existing systems like new cards, new cosmetics, or whole new game modes. I wanna know what feature you want, and what the element of that feature is most important.

      @Celestalon @IksarHS I’d like better stat access. How many times have I hit legend? What classes did I play a lot last expansion. Whatever.

        @jcandance @IksarHS What would be most important for this to be successful to you? Variety of stat data? Backwards counting? Portability of that data (export for fan sites to analyze further)? Something else?

      @Celestalon @IksarHS Reminders of what will happen when you play a card that relies on other cards that you've played (Shudderwock, Xyrella hero, resurrects, etc.). Deck Tracker doesn't always collect that, and it would be a huge accessibility/QoL feature for folks with short term memory issues.

          @WickedGood @IksarHS Yeah, as we’ve made more complex and synergistic cards over time, the tracking required for a variety of things has definitely gone up. I think that’s a problem that can be attacked both from card design, and decktracker-like features. Thanks!

        @stormraige23 @IksarHS I was waiting for someone to mention Tournament Mode. It’s basically a meme at this point. I’ll give a little background on why Tournament Mode has never happened: In short, “Tournament Mode” isn’t a single thing. It’s actually a dozen very different modes.

          @stormraige23 @IksarHS Tons of people say the want Tournament Mode. But if you ask a dozen of them to describe it, you get a dozen different answers. We got a decent ways into designing and building one of these (nowhere close to done, mind you), and found that it wasn’t what most were looking for.

            @stormraige23 @IksarHS I still want to do SOME sort of tournament mode in the future, but there needs to be clear understanding of what it is, and what it isn’t. The big challenge is that we want to spend time developing features that a large number of people will want.

              @Celestalon @IksarHS I appreciate this. For what it matters I’ve always wanted a barebones tournament mode. Give me a bracket with random folks where it’s a BO3/5 and I can ban a class. Winner gets ??. It’s the only thing I’ve wanted since I’ve started playing and it kills me that it never happened

                @Celestalon @IksarHS If I can ask a follow up… and if you can’t answer that’s fine. What happened between the announced tournament mode and scrapping it? It seems like a lot of things happened behind the scenes that we never quite heard about other than it was too difficult to pin down features.

                  @stormraige23 @IksarHS Basically what I said in the next tweet. We got decently far into building ONE OF those tournament modes, trying to bridge many of the desires people have. We found that it just wasn’t possible to satisfy enough people to make it worth doing.

                    @stormraige23 @IksarHS I’m making up numbers here, but it’s like… 20% of people say they want some sort of tournament mode. That’s a considerable number, so we started building something. Found that what we were building was only useful to 3% of people.

                      @stormraige23 @IksarHS We could have doubled our scope/work with additional options and variants, and that could have expanded the number of users to 5%… still wasn’t worth the time investment, when we could put that time toward something else like Duels or BGs or achievements, etc.

      @Celestalon @IksarHS I've only changed my mind on this very very recently, but now we have MMR displayed in all other modes, I think maybe it could be time to display it in constructed too. You peoples will have more relevant data on that though, and I understand why it might not be desirable

      @Celestalon @IksarHS To open all card packs at once instead of 1 by 1. If I buy a big pack I just want them in my inventory ASAP and not go through each pack explosion. I’m not a streamer, you know? So time is more important than the time consuming celebration. Unless this exists but I don’t know 😂
