      For the above role we're looking for someone with prior dev experience in VFX. We're not looking for a specific title in your current role so much as a good, thoughtful teammate with the ability to head up some big chunks of the game's VFX.

          Both roles are open to both remote and international candidates. We also provide relocation assistance if you want to come hang out with me in the office so that we can interpretive dance our way through VFX feedback in person (:D).

            The VFX are stylized, emphasize clarity, shape and punchiness, and we're trying to design for accessibility early. So enjoying the gameplay communication puzzle and really juicy animation are huge bonuses. We're working in Unreal/Niagara, but you don't need to know it beforehand

              These two roles plus me are likely to be the entire VFX team. I'm hoping to make it a team where everyone gets to work on lots of things they're excited about and continuously grow and learn, takes lots of vacation days, and is set up for success in their career progression.

                Our game is - imo - absurdly fun. We playtest a lot, so I've probably clocked about 300 hours now. Still a blast. People regularly try to orchestrate excuses to playtest more. It borders on a problem. Highly recommend being part of this particular problem with us.:}

                  DMs open for questions, but if in doubt, apply! If you don't get or qualify for the job, maybe we still both grow our network or get a new VFX friend out of it! (And if you're not applying, please tell me which of the 12 Principles of Animation you are anyways. I need to know.)
